(Fiber Therapy): Effective in treating occasional constipation and restoring regularity., (Fiber Supplement Information): For lowering cholesterol and heart health., Diets low in saturated fat and cholesterol that include 7 grams of soluble fiber per day from psyllium husk, as in this product, may reduce the risk of heart disease by lowering cholesterol. One adult dose of this product has 2.4 grams of this soluble fiber. Consult a doctor if you are considering use of this product as a part of a cholesterol-lowering program.Allergy alert

(Fiber Therapy): Put one dose into an empty glass. Mix this product (child or adult dose) with at least 8 ounces (a full glass) of water or other fluid. Taking this product without enough liquids may cause choking. See choking warning. Stir briskly and drink promptly. If mixture thickens, add more liquid and stir. Laxatives, including bulk fibers, may affect how well other medicines work. If you are taking a prescription medicine by mouth, take this product at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after the prescribed medicine. As your body adjusts to increased fiber intake, you may experience changes in bowel habits or minor bloating. New Users: Start with 1 dose per day; gradually increase to 3 doses per day as necessary. (Fiber Supplement Information): See mixing directions in Drug Facts. Notice: Mix this product (child or adult dose) with at least 8 ounces (a full glass) of water or other fluid. submitted byAnita - 5 years agoTarget staff supportA: The tablespoon dose version is with sugar. This uses artificial sweetener which is a lot sweeter than sugar, so they use less. As a result, the dose is teaspoons. If you are OK with the artificial sweetener (I sure am), you get more doses per container, usually for the same price.

I'm very dissapointed with my recent purchase of this item. I have been using this product regularly for the past few years with no issues or dislike. I can no longer say that. The bottle that I recently purchaed not only tastes different, but it does not dissolve when stirred. Large clumps form and remain floating on the surface. I could live with the flavor change but I can not handle the clumping. I will need to seek out a different option.

It used to be if as soluable and smooth as the Metamucil brand but now it clumps up like old drywall powder. I dont know where you changed the formulation, but change it back - this stuff sucks now. Its gritty, clumpy, and doesnt dissolve.

I bought it despite all the horrible reviews of the new formula. What a mistake on my part …..this is truly a horrible reformulation that I’ll never buy again. Tastes wretched and chalky. It’s hard to fathom they’d change from a great product to this junk. Target, if you read these reviews, do something about it and go back to your old supplier.

This is supposted to be a dupe for Metamucil Sugar-Free. The old one was a 1:1 replacement but this new version is horrible. Didn't notice anything off until I tasted the first sip. Can't even get it down. $17 wasted

My family and I have been using this product for a little over a year now. It has always worked great, until now. We noticed they changed the packaging and sadly, the formula. It is so clumpy, even after I used a small mixer. It is terrible! Please change it back or I will not be buying it again.

I have been drinking the Up and Up sugar free orange fiber poweder for awhile and this new formula tastes different and does not mix/dissolve well at all. It used to tatste so much better and mix very easily and now it is just a clumpy mess. Please bring back the old formula! Whatever you did to it is not a good change!

They changed the product, and it tastes disgusting (granted, it was never great. But now it's really gross). The powder is much finer and it has these chunks in it. The lid does not close either, if you tighten it a little too much, it just pops back open to loose. Please go back to your old supplier, I'll be purchasing elsewhere until then

They seem to have changed the formula for this product because I’ve had it before and now it doesn’t dissolve into the water as well. It smells different and most of the product is floating on top of the water. Once I am done with the container, I have I will be using something different.

The updated formula is worse in every conceivable way -- it does not mix, it tastes horrible, and it smells like a week old warm cheesecake soaked in gym sock drippings. If you think I'm exaggerating, read the other reviews. This stuff is RANK.
