Q: Can you reuse a fire extinguisher? I only used it on a small grease fire, two or 3 sprays. It says on the front that it is not refillable.
A: Thank you for your question. We recommend replacing it. Once it is used, the seal is broken and the pressure will begin to depressurize. The pressure is what pushes the agent up and out of the alarm when the trigger is pressed.

No, once a fire extinguisher is used, the seal is broken, so the fire extinguisher will start to lose pressure. The pressure is what pushes the agent up and out of the fire extinguisher. This unit needs to be disposed of and replaced.

Q: Does this fire extinguisher or any of the fire extinguishers come with a bracket so it can be hung on the wall for quick access. Also when hanging or storing a fire extinguisher how far away from a gas stove should it be placed? Let me know. Thanks!
A: Yes, the FE comes with the bracket it’s been approved with. The consumer will have to obtain Screws for it- as we do not know what kind of a surface it is being attached to.

Q: If this fire extinguisher is used on a stainless steel electricity ignited closed burner gas stovetop would the powder from the fire extinguisher damage the stove top or closed burners?
A: Thank you for your question. It is very important to remove the powder from electrical equipment after a fire. If the powder gets wet, it can conduct electricity. If you have any questions about cleaning appliances that the agent has come into contact with, please contact the appliance manufacturer.
