Fisher-Price Luminate Bassinet - White

We bought this in February 2023 for our baby due July 2023. He was born July 13th and by August 21st, the vibration feature doesn't work at all. The vibration feature was the sole reason we bought this bassinet.

I saw the reviews for this and put it on our registry thinking it was the end all, be all of bassinets and I wish we would’ve gotten something else. Our baby is 3 months and we just transitioned her to a crib because of how uncomfortable the mattress was for her. We had to add a little cushion under the sheet just to get her to sleep in it. She’s sleeping so much better now that she isn’t in this. The only thing I liked about it was how easy it was to put together. It definitely wasn’t worth the price though.

I was excited to use this bassinet because of the vibrating features and built in white noise, but after a month of using the vibration stopped working. Also, the mattress is not very good quality as seen in other reviews as well. The modern design is nice and the mesh sides make it easy to see baby.

I was so excited to get this bassinet for my daughter. Unfortunately, the vibrate mode stopped working. It’s been less than 3 months in use and one of the main features doesn’t even work now.

My SIL purchased this for us. It isn’t a bassinet that I would normally purchase as I’m more old school and prefer a basic bassinet. My daughter is currently 4 months and is getting too long for the bassinet and is 5 lbs away from reaching the max weight limit. All the fancy technology wasn’t really useful because I got a great sleeper but it was nice to have it. Love the sensor motion light. Will definitely use this same bassinet if we decide to have a third baby!

Got this as a gift for our baby born in December. We really loved this bassinet at first and having an app to control the settings was very convenient. Unfortunately, we recently noticed the vibration is barely working which is very disappointing given that it’s less than a year old.

I don't understand why target charges 100 more for the same product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of four, I wish this bassinet was around sooner! I would have loved to have used it with all my babies. I have really enjoyed using all the features this bassinet has! The light has been super helpful for those middle of the night feedings. It is just the right amount of brightness. It is super convenient being able to control the lights, sounds, songs, and vibrations from my phone without disturbing baby. I know my baby is nice and safe in this bassinet. It has a flat surface and mesh sidings for a safe sleeping area. It is easy to set up wherever baby sleeps whether in your room or in their nursery. I definitely recommend this bassinet. You will really love everything it has to offer!

Bassinet mattress was very hard. This bassinet also does not come with an option to buy additional bassinet sheets

I love everything about this bassinet I’m a mommy of 3 and my baby loved it! She’s been sleeping in it since day 1 she just turned 8months 💗 I wrapped the mattress with a soft plush blanket so it’s comfy for her.

Love this item! Doesn’t take up space much space and is light weight. Super excited for my little one to use!

Where can I find extra screws ? I lost one of the screws in our move and have no idea where to find a extra

I’ve been using this with my 4th baby so we’ve been through a few bassinets. I love the sound and vibration built right into the unit. The rain sound is a decent white noise, though I wish there were more options for different white noises with longer sound bytes. I’d much rather have more kinds of white noise choices than lullabies. I also wish that the favorite feature could run then automatically turn on baby sensing mode afterward. It’s annoying to have wait until our baby falls asleep in favorite (which is rain sounds and low vibrations for us) and then turn it off so we can turn on cry sensing which continuously runs the rain sounds. Overall I like the bassinet, but I feel like it’s lacking in some simple features and settings that would make it a better smart bassinet. If cry detection was on or off instead of just another bassinet mode, I’d be happy.

Not sure what to do I lost the power cord and I’ve tried other ones even another fisher price cord and nothing happens when I plug it in

As all the other comments have stated, this product is great minus the huge crease in the mattress pad. Per the replys below, I decided to call to and was on the phone for 30 minutes while the representative failed to direct me to the product number and could not search for the product on their own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We kept our baby at tops two nights in this bassinet because of how uncomfortable the mattress is. Our baby was able to sleep easily in our pack n play bassinet, stroller bassinet, and our crib, but cried non stop in this due to the mattress. This is an expensive bassinet, and very disappointing. They should send everyone a free more comfortable mattress replacement since it’s not safe to buy another mattress unless it’s specifically Made for that bassinet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unboxing items that need assembly is not one of my favorite past times, but this was so easy to assemble! Everything was labeled clearly and the instructions were so simple. I had this put together in a matter of minutes. Pairing this through the app to my iPhone was a breeze as well. There was a short period of time for updating, but it was less than 3 minutes. After selecting my mode preferences it was all ready for baby. I did try just laying baby down for a minute even though I knew she was not in the mood for anything other than cuddles, but we’ll.. I just had too. At least for a quick photo op. The only down side I can even think to comment on is the little mattress/pad that is included. I’m not sure if the cut is off or if it’s just something that will work itself out with use, but it appears to “ bubble” at one end. I can smooth it down, but then it fills up with air again and the “bubble” comes back. Honestly everything about this bassinet is amazing! The warm lights are perfect for a quick diaper change at night. Not so bright that baby thinks it’s time to wake up fully, but enough light for me to see what I’m doing. And the music/vibration are an absolutely wonderful addition! The Melodie’s are sweet and I even find myself falling asleep to them. All in all, a perfect pre crib accessory that will fit just about anywhere.

Our sweet little one sleeps like a literal dream!!! We love how it has soft music to soothe or baby back sleep, and we love how it illuminates so we're able to see in the dark. It makes checking on him easy, and no harsh lights to wake him up. The best part is it's detection triggered on the bassinet! Im not fumbling looking for buttons wakeing the baby. I wish we had this with all of our kiddos!
