Fix YourLid Firm Hold Gel 8.5oz

Yeah, it may look like hair gel but it’s not. It goes on very soft and has zero hold. The scent isn’t horrible. Not worth the price.

Only gel my sons and husband like and use, we just discovered it last year and since then we always go back for more! Has a soft nice smell

Doesn’t hold the hair at all. My boys hair falls out almost instantly. Not impressed.

I was excited to try this brand as I saw some good reviews, but unfortunately it didn’t hold for very long. I’ll have to try another product

I have been using the high hold version of this pomade. My hair hair is medium length. 7” - 8” long and I slick it back. I was a bit excited to see the gel had more than double the amount of product for the same price. If it could hold just as well as the pomade, this would be a great deal. Unfortunately the hold was no where near as strong as the pomade. I applied the gel generously to my hair. I’d put some on my hands, rub it, and apply it to sections of my hair at at time. Each time I’d add more product when moving to a different section of my head. (Ex. Top, back, sides, etc) The was already showing signs that it was inferior to its pomade counter part before the gel even set. My hair was towel dried and slightly damp but the gel couldn’t hold my hair. It may work on thinner shorter hair and you do get a lot of ounces for the price but it’s just not for me. If you want a high hold and shine and you’re looking to save. The FIX Your Lid high hold pomade is the best I’ve tried at target. I’ve tried the Cremo and Duke Cannon products as well as Suavecito and Layrite and for price vs hold vs quantity; Fix Your Lid is the best I’ve found.

Doesn’t have that firm hold you want. It’s pricey and doesn’t do the job.

Not a strong hold. Barely even there after few hours. Doesn’t hold hair in place. Ido not recommend.

Not really a firm hold more like medium hold. Smells good and leaves no residue or flakiness behind. Easy to apply

Im just getting to the end of the bottle after 3months. Th fact it is thick and doesn’t require much (at least for me) is cool. The smell reminds of a barber shop. The feeling on your hair is good. Not greasy. No flakes. No ugly residue after it’s been in your hair all day. Will buy again.

I have been using this product for a few years after switching from another brand. No regrets. Holds on great.

Pro: product didn’t gunk up hair. Cons: This product worked for like 30 min. Then my child’s hair looked like he had never had gel in it. Product says firm hold but the hair but doesn’t seem to hold.

I love this stuff. My boyfriend uses it and we use it on our toddler. It smells amazing and doesn’t flake or leave any residue
