Flings Strawberry High Protein Keto Toaster Pastries - 8.3oz / 4ct

These are awful. They do not look anything like the picture on the box. The “icing” is a sticky, clear layer, not white with sprinkles. The taste is abominable. I took one bite and wanted to spit it out. We were questioning if they were expired, but the best by date is a few months from now. For the high price, throwing these out is annoying, but I know I won’t be eating any of these. I should have read some reviews before purchasing. I don’t know how this has a 4 star rating.

Horrible flavor, looks nothing like image on box

The packaging is an absolute lie. Nothing about these ingredients are keto in any way shape or form. I have a child with elipsey and has to eat keto to manage his seizures. This product is an abomination.

If you bite into one of these thinking you just bought a Pop Tart that is a little healthier, you're going to have a bad time. Strawberry Flings taste like a 5th grade boy smashed Ritz crackers over a Fruit Rollup and packaged it for resale. If you close your eyes while chewing, you can actually taste the playground equipment from his unwashed hands. Mercifully, Flings are packaged just one to a foil pack, instead of the two that you would expect with a Pop Tart. This saves you money on flossers you'll need to pick bitter fruit snack gunk out of your teeth. I think landing on an accurate description of the taste of Flings is best done by calling them "Dollar Store Fig Newtons." Nobody's enjoying this in their mouth.

I cannot believe the high rating these have. The false advertising of the photo on the box vs the actual product should be a crime. They’re mushy and have a weird taste, like sour maybe. Idk. And there is no frosting to speak of. Also the price??? No.

Not good flavor at all. Prefer Legendary Food over this one any day... Why the reviews so high on this? This product is gross in comparison.

I love the texture of these. So much so, that after finishing the first one I wanted to open another to eat. Not flat and crisp like a poptart, much cakier. But the flavor leaves something to be desired. A bit too chemically and artificial so I can only stomach one at a time. I'll definitely finish my box, but I'm not sure I'll buy them again. A bit too pricey for something I only half like the flavor of (though I'll be so sad to never eat this texture again, I really don't even know what to compare it to)

Disgusting. I can’t believe I wasted money on this (definitely not cheap!!). The texture is weird, the filling tastes like pasty figs rather than strawberries, and it leaves a horrible bitter aftertaste. I’ve been gluten free for over a decade and have had a ton of products and this is just awful.

I really like these, they are compact and quick, you can eat them hot or cold, both ways it tastes nice.

these are pretty good for 'fake' toaster pastries. they're kind of small and overpriced - but you aren't buying these for the taste, you're buying them to enjoy something that you can't enjoy anymore because it is full of sugar. anyway, buy these. DO NOT buy these for your kids. these are for adults. kids will cry and throw them in the trash lol

I have Celiac disease and I'm a type 1 diabetic. In other words, I've eaten a wide variety of natural, unnatural, keto, grain-free, high fiber, and low carb diet foods for many years. I'd never heard or read much good about these, but recently saw them in my recommendations and was surprised to see they now have a high 4+ rating, with some reviewers mentioning that the recipe was changed and greatly improved within the last year or two. I was growing a little tired of the mild aftertaste that the otherwise decent Legendary toaster pastries have, so I decided to finally give Flings a chance and bought the strawberry. I am the type of person that hates wasting money/food but this box is already in the trash. It's disappointing, but I have no desire to give these to someone else. They look nothing like what's on the box, taste like strong chemicals and a rancid Fig Newton, and have the texture of melting rubber. I'm shocked that these made it on store shelves, let alone have been around for years with growing praise. The product expiration is well before its "Best By" date, and the box does have the hype printing of "New & Improved" at the top. If this is improved, I'm glad I never tried the first released recipe. Looks like I'm taking a little break from toaster pastries, then returning to Legendary. Try them and decide for yourself if you must, but I'd personally trust the one-star reviews on this one.

These toaster snacks are better than Pop tarts! They have two flavors. You can heat them or eat them straight out of the pack.

I’d give zero stars if I could. These look nothing like the box picture and taste absolutely disgusting. No one in the house liked them and they went in the trash. These should not be sold. Fake advertising based on the company photos on box.

Love these. They taste great and are a great option for breakfast on the go as perfect portion size and no mess.

I purchased two boxes recently, believing they did not contain erythritol, but in fact they do. The specifications on Target's website did not mention this artificial sweetener, but when I received them, the box clearly states it does. Worse, i could only and barely eat two bites. They are dense and have a chemical taste. Even worse. The box clearly shows the pastry has frosting - mine did not. I threw out the entire contents of both boxes. These are clearly not worth the money.

If this is new and improved I would hate to know what they tasted like before because these are disgusting...very weak strawberry 🍓 taste. The taste is strange and not in a good way....they also smell and fall apart...almost like they are too wet. Anyone that gave these 5 stars either work for the company or have no taste buds. And the price 7.99 for four...would not mind if they tasted good but would not get these again evening they were free

The taste was horrible! I really want to like these. I couldn't even force myself to eat an entire one. I was so mad I wasted money and calories on this. Tasty pastries taste so much better, I was just trying to find an alternative that doesn't contain erythritol. I would rather go without than to eat this!

These are way too sweet, even for me, someone who has a sweetooth. It's like someone poured a crap ton of erythritol in my mouth all at once. I like the ingredients but not enough to buy this product again, it was just too much

At first they had a weird taste but they grow on you. I really like the texture, it reminds me of a fig newton bar. I wish the frosting was spread out instead of just being in the middle. Other than that it’s a pretty good snack, I will definitely continue buying.

Does not look like the picture and taste like chemicals. This is probably one of the worst purchases I’ve made. I am so upset that I returned the open box for my money back. It looks like if went off.
