Floor Broom with Standing Dust Pan - up&up™

I liked the color. It matches the color in my bathroom which is where I keep it to sweep up cat litter from the litter boxes of my cats. I like that once the dustpan is down it stays still on the floor for me to sweep without collapsing with the handle falling over like my other dustpan that I also got from target a few years ago. I’m short so the length of the broom and dustpan are fine. But they are a tad heavy to use one handed, at least for me and my experience using them. What I don’t like is the bristles on the broom. They’re a form of plastic that loses shape, meaning the outer perimeter of the bristles branch out and I have to bend them back down. Also when putting the broom and dustpan away for storage the bristles get caught on the dustpan and I feel like I’m fiddling around too much getting the broom to set nicely in the dustpan for storage. Other than that I like the set. Mine was the only one left at the store and it had no wrapper, it was dinged up, almost like it was returned. So the cashier marked it down for me.

Broom is too small . I bought it to clean but way too small

Before you get this item excited to not bend out to sweep into the dust pan, bear in mind that the broom isn’t anymore than 3 feet tall. You’ll be bending over anyway to do the sweeping. Disappointed Target would even sell this honestly. This should be put in the kids toy department.

The broom effectively swept up all the shells from seeds under my bird feeder. The bristles have a slight slant, which helps a lot. The lip of the dust pan has soft rubber so even on the bumpy ground I had no issue sweeping the debris into the dustpan. There is also some rubber on the back of the dustpan. The combs are convenient for getting stuff out of the bristles. I had no issue with the length of the broom/dust pan because I’m fairly short (so it was just right or could even be shorter). The handle at the tops of the broom/dust pan are also rubberized which makes them easier to grip without them spinning around. I’m very happy with this thing and I’m glad I got it. The only improvement I might suggest would be making the dust pan hinge with gravity. It is pretty tight and needs to be tilted open/closed manually. I have seen dustpans that naturally close when lifted off the floor. Other than that, I really have no complaints and would recommend this item.

Like the size of the broom, works perfectly for the kitchen and house

The teeth on the dustpan removed all of the hair/dirt when sweeping so I don't have to remove with my hands. The silicone strip at the base of the dustpan allows for all of the dirt and debris to go in and not have particles remain on the floor

This broom is fairly short. It works ok. I feels a bit flimsy.

Broom and dust pan set is incredibly small. I read the other reviews thinking it couldn’t have been that bad, especially given that I am not the tallest person but it definitely is that bad. I ended up giving it to my 9 year old and now have to spend more money on a broom that is of average size which is pretty inconvenient given that I don’t get my money from trees. I am a huge fan of the Up & Up brand but they missed the mark with this one unless it was meant for the small community which in that case it would be perfect. Please market it to them. I’m sure it’d be well received.

I wish this set was taller! I loved the idea of not having to bend down clear to the ground to sweep up my debris pile but with this set I still have to be at an uncomfortable angle due to the length of the handles. The dustpan has little teeth that help to remove hair and cobwebs from the broom bristles. I have 2 Corgis and it does a great job with removing their hair from the floor and broom.

Don’t buy it. The dust pan doesn’t work and things sweep right underneath it. It’s also so short only a child could use it comfortably.

This broom is compact in size, but very sturdy and well made. I like the way it stands, how easy it is to use, and the little teeth on the dust pan that help remove hair and trash from the broom bristles. Definitely would recommend.

I really had high hopes for this product as we were in need of a new kitchen broom! As a whole, it is great. However, the height of the broom is extremely short. Will definitely cause back pain when using if you are over 5 ft.

Great broom set. Love the fact that i dont have to stoop with my old school dustpan. Definitely more convenient. The dustpan has a clip that the broom snaps into which is great for storage. I do wish the broom had an adjustable height however its fine because I'm short.

Cute and petite sad perfect for storing In small spaces. I have a really tiny kitchen and this is convenient to keep on hand for random spills. decently sturdy for the size. Probably would not be the best ergonomically if you were a very tall person I am just shy of 5’7” and I think I am at the max height to comfortably use it.

This floor broom with standing dustpan is a great broom for cleaning up. I will start by saying i did think it would be a taller broom but its a shorter broom. Regardless of height, it sweeps everything up with ease. It picks up all dirt and debris. The dustpan flips up and down and yiu can store the broom inside the dustpan when its flipped up and clip them together. The dustpan is well made, sturdy, has a flat edge that allows everything to be swept in with ease! The height of this broom is shorter for me but my older kids love this broom because its easy for them to use. This set is very well made and cleans up what you need perfectly!

If you have back issues where it is difficult to bend over you will love the stand up dust pan that comes with this set. I was disappointed with the quality. The metal handles are thin and mine arrived bent. The broom handle is also too short. I find myself having to bend over to sweep. I’ve included pictures of my regular broom so that you can easily see how short it is. I was hoping that the handle would be extendable. The lip of the dust pan is designed well, very easy to sweep dirt into it. If the pole handles were extendable this set would be so much better!
