i was under the impression that it came with a chair for $200. The desk is so beautiful and perfect , only if it came with a chair!

Agree with other reviewers that the listing is misleading and I also kinda thought it would come with a chair since its in the description and pictured but anyhoooo….industrial in appearance and the wood is solid. Perfect desk for my teenage son (a lot of desks just wouldn't fit in his space without being that really cheap looking furniture) so this was a win. I will admit I would not have been able to attach the two lower shelves without my husband and son. Someone has to hold it in place (upside down) while someone is drilling. Doable but difficult so have some (strong) help on hand.

Even though this item is advertised as chair and table, it's actually only a desk. Also the chemical warning is only available when you click "show more" details. I probably wouldn't have bought it if these two things were more obvious.

I was in the market for a new desk and I didn't want anything made of particle board (ick). I saw this one and it was at a great price and was just the style I was looking for. Easy setup, nothing stripped or went wrong for me. It's simple and functional with great space and it's super sturdy. I love the solid wood and all the color variation/grain and it makes me happy to sit and work at it! I also coupled it with a Nate Berkus curved slipper chair, so it's just an adorable setup altogether :)

I am in love with this desk! It is sturdy and the perfect size for my studio apartment. I would have given 5 stars except that is is labeled as a desk and chair but the chair is NOT included. You have to buy it separately.

It's a nice enough desk, but is labeled as the Carolina Desk and Chair. At the least, Target should remove the mention of the chair and state where it can be purchased separately.

Hello stonehouse the desk is not shipped with a chair. The title does not state that a chair is included. Title reads Flynn Desk(Name of the product)- Natural/Black (Color of the product) - Carolina Chair and Table (this is our Company Name/Brand Name). It is not indicating that the desk is sold with a chair or that would be mentioned in the actual product description. We do apologize if this appeared to be misleading. The Chairs are available but are sold as a set of 2

Like the look. Pretty wood. Paint flaking off screws, but they don't show. Screws were hard to start in the shelves as there were no pre-drilled holes or indentations in the wood.

This desk is great for the price. Easy to assemble and just the right size for my plotter. I am using this for added space to my current desk set up.The wood looks good and the color is true to photo. Goes with any decor.

Other than the paint coming off some of the screws (which don't show anyway), I think this is a perfect piece. It's a second desk in our office so it's perfect for one person with a laptop and has enough storage to keep the desk top tidy from ongoing projects, or store a few books and decorative arts.
