This morning before going to work I put a couple steaks in plastic bags into a pot of water and attached the Joule gadget to the pot. I used the joule phone app to select the temperature and cook time and hit the start button to start cooking. Best filet I have ever had, including top quality restaurants.
Last night I fed some friends filet's from Sam's club. Cooked with Sous Vide as described, all medium rare, seasoned and finished on a Weber Grill. Amazing results. All were thrilled with the taste, consistency and overall finish. All at $7/pound.
Will never cook again with anything else."
