My elderly dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis over a year ago. For many months he was only being fed chicken as any other type of food made him ill. After months of eating only chicken, his health continued to decline due to not eating a balanced diet. I did some research on Freshpet and decided to try the grain free chicken recipe with spinach and potato with his new vet's guidance. He has been eating Freshpet for 6 months now and has not had any flares of pancreatitis. This has been the only food his system has been able to tolerate. He has gained weight and now plays like he is a puppy. I truly believe this food saved my dogs life and has made his quality of life wonderful again.

My Shorkie absolutely loves it!! I think we'll stick to it because it is so much better for him. I'm hoping that he can get through a whole roll in seven days as it says once opened it should be used in seven days.

I bought this product last weekend for my 16 year old beagle. I’ve been struggling with finding a fresh food brand for a very picky eater. We have tried Farmers Dog, Ollie, Pet Plate and tried and true kibble. He would have nothing to do with these foods until I tried Freshpet. I was literally ready to cook for him and then bam Freshpet! He’s been lethargic and lazy and now he’s running and completing a mile walk every day. I will always feed my pets Freshpet after this experience. Thank you so much!!

I tried almost every dog food on the market to no avail. My dog would just walk away. My husband brought home Freshpet as a last resort. Hallelujah, hallelujah! He ate every bit and licked his bowl clean. Thank you. This product is amazing and life saving!

Our dog was almost out down twice. She wasn’t eating, arthritis had her limping and lethargic. We made a choice to see if changing her from her old dry food to this new food would help her, and we literally have a new dog. She’s springy again, eager to eat, and loves her food . She’s off her arthritis meds and no longer limps, but runs and darts anytime we go in the kitchen. I believe the conventional dry dog food was killing her and we’re so happy we pressed on and didn’t put her down. She’s 12 going on 2 lol . We love FreshPet !!

I bought multiprotein and beef. While my dog ate both well, it wasn't until I tried the no grain chicken did I see a big change in his appetite.

My 5 lbs Chihuahua LOVES this food. It didn’t mess his tummy up or cause any bathroom issues when I switched him either.

Not sure why, but my Bernese mountain dog will not touch this food. I tried mixing it with his regular food, I tried warming it on a plate to look like my food and he still will not take a bite.
