Frida Baby 2-in-1 Portable Sound Machine + Nightlight

This thing is amazing I wish I didn’t wait til my third kid to buy it. The sound options is great, my girl loves the shusher and most sound machines don’t have that sound. It also is so portable and smartly designed. I love the handle option and that it’s marked on the strap what the buttons are for when you leave it closed. The night light feature is also so smart for my toddlers when we travel. Two birds one stone. So well made.

Where to start… The low battery indicator is essentially a very bright strobe light. Once the battery is low, the light just starts flashing extremely fast to get you to charge it. It woke my baby up in the middle of the night. For something that straps to a crib to be used at night, you know, to help a baby sleep, you would think it wouldn’t be designed to be something that immediately wakes the baby up. The thing also does not hold the charging cable to even get a charge. It has to be finessed at a very weird angle just to stay in (and this isn’t an issue with mine, I see other reviews with the same thing.) And while you eventually do get it to charge, God forbid you have to charge it at night while in use. Because, again, the charging indicator is a slightly slower flashing bright light that my baby also does not like. You essentially have to remember to charge it during the day for it to ever be useful.

Great little sound machine except that it stopped working after 2.5 months, doesn’t turn on at all now

I got this a month ago for my baby and it has already stopped working. No matter how long I charge it it won’t turn on. Very disappointing machine

I can’t seem to charger it I keep trying and it keeps turning off because is not charge

its a great sound machine for its use while away and the different noise, volume levels and the light feature. I used the light in the newborn days to see my baby during night feeds. I bought a backup and unfortunately the charging light goes off constantly which defeats the purpose of a dark room and often wakes my baby.

Also here to complain about the bright flashing charging light. Frequently we use this during travel at night and it needs to be charging during use after a day of car and out and about use. The charging light is so bright it shines throughout half the room.

LOVED this sound machine and used it on the waves setting almost every night for 3.5 months, then it crapped out and won't turn on anymore.

We love this sound machine for our kiddos! Will purchase again if we have another child.

I love the pink noise but the flashing light to indicate charging is TERRIBLE! 😞 who can sleep through that? Finally, the buttons are difficult to see.

I regret buying this. The battery life doesn’t last a full night (only with the white noise going) and if you leave it plugged in the light flashes the whole night.

GENIUS device and my baby LOVES IT! He is alway out like a light when I use it

Very loud & clear volume considering it is portable. We use it for our smaller bassinet too, since our baby isn’t in the big crib yet. Also the light is useful when looking for it during the night.

We’ve had this sound machine for a little over a year and it now won’t hold a charge and has a flashing light when it’s plugged in. I’ve had issues with nearly all of my Frida Baby products. It doesn’t seem like any of them were designed for long term use.

Bad battery life only get one night sleep out of it. Bad design because it blinks lights when charging so you can’t even leave it plugged I.

So easy to use, great sound quality/volume. We use the night light at the same time too. Light weight and portable so it made such an easy add on to the travel packing list.

Worked well at first, then the battery life dwindled rapidly and now it won't charge or turn on at all. Only lasted us a year. The flashing light to indicate charging/low battery life was really obnoxious too.

I BOUGHT IT A YEAR AGO! IT HAS BEEN GREAT. I JUST HATE THE BLINKING LIGHTS. IT BLINKS WHEN ITS CHANGING. BAD DURING THE NIGHT, I LEAVE IT DISCONNECTED BUT I AM ALWAYS AFRAID IT WILL TURN OFF.

Not much to add. This was a baby gift the soon-to-be mother requested. She isn't due until April.... I'm hoping it is exactly what she was needing.
