Frida Mom Adjustable Nursing Pillow

This pillow is the worst. My baby can’t stand the hard surface with the weird indentations that don’t match up to how she lays so her neck is usually bent. I try to fill the hole with a folded towel or something. It’s never flat and always lays on an angle, which wedges her between me and the pillow and makes a horrible latch where there isn’t one. I was hopeful with it being adjustable and all, but it’s either way too high, way too low, way too hard, way too soft, or it’s bending in half while she’s laying on it. The shape makes no sense to me and the way it slopes down at the edges perpetuates the wedge “falling forward” feature. When I have managed to get it to lay flat it becomes really easy for my active baby to roll off bc it’s so small. Not to mention the stitching ripped in to gaping holes only weeks after I opened it. I really wanted to like this, I got it as a gift from my registry and I was really excited until I started trying to use it. It may work well for someone else but dang I can’t stand this thing.

Moms with long torsos rejoice! This nursing pillow is amazing! It’s also the only pillow I’ve found to be a good support for the football hold.

I love this nursing pillow! I’ve used the traditional boppy pillow and the my breast friend pillow and this is like the best of both of those combined. I love that it’s adjustable height and it clips around your torso. The firm top makes positioning baby so easy while the squishy bottom makes it easy to adjust on your legs. The only thing I wish they would change is the back support and the tensioning clip. The back support is constantly falling off when I remove the pillow, which then moves the tension adjustment piece, so every time I put the pillow on I have to reset the tension. Who has time for that when baby is ready to feed? I would buy the pillow again despite this design flaw but I would really like to see changes made to improve this part of the pillow. I’m a mom of a toddler and a 3.5month old, I don’t have time to gingerly take this pillow off to keep things in place.

If you’re a petite girly with a short torso, this pillow is obnoxious and I wouldn’t recommend.

I was mainly using a boppy pillow but was so excited to try this nursing pillow. First of all, I love that the fabric is so soft and machine washable. I also love that the pillow is adjustable to baby. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to try it out while baby was younger but I did remove some of the inner padding so I could use it with my baby now! It’s really so easy to use and I feel great knowing it’s so easy to clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good post Partum nursing pillow. Thick and flat which actually helps support baby and doesn’t cause them to roll into you. The only slight negative is the awkward back rest/pad. It takes just a bit of extra time to wrap it all the way around and get comfortable.

I can see how the supportive and tall structure with all three layers makes it ideal for nursing a newborn. I love how it has three different layers: two firm foam layers and one soft, plushy layer. This makes it totally customizable for the different needs and stages of mom and baby. For my five month old, it’s a bit too structured if using the foam pieces, but I’m tall, so the extra layer really helps lift her up and save my back. Because of the firm structure, it’s a bit of a pain when nursing in the glider. However, this is the best pillow if you nurse in bed with baby. The height and structure of this pillow in our squishy bed really helped to save my back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off the fabric is so soft and perfect for the mom and baby skin. The little divet for the baby's head is great. In the first stages it harder because they/both are learning. There are so many great thing with this nursing pillow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have received the Frida Mom Adjustable Nursing Pillow just a few weeks after I gave birth to my daughter and I will say that it was so much better than the Boppy Pillow that I was using. I love that there is a strap and a back support which is amazing. I love that there are removable pillows that you can take out to go along with your growing baby. I think this pillow is so comfortable and supportive that it’s the best choice when getting a nursing pillow. I recommend this pillow to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pillow is an absolute must for all stages of nursing! I wish I had this during the first few weeks of breastfeeding. With my 4 month old, this works amazing with the thin firm and softest layer. I took out one insert to adjust the height as he's a little bigger now and it makes things so much easier to work with an extra loose hand! This pillow is comfy and straps around your back which is nice that you don't need to constantly adjust it. Also had pockets for snacks!

I'm still using my pregnancy pillow in bed to help support me while I sleep but also while holding my baby. I love how the Frida pregnancy pillow easily twists and shapes to your desired position. I appreciate that it can be moved into multiple shapes, including the C or U shape. I have trouble with my original U shaped pillow doing the same. I also love how cooling it is. I ran hot during pregnancy and still do during postpartum, so this pillow is perfect when you need more support but can do without the overheating. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Frida mom adjustable nursing pillow is now one of my essentials to pack for any car/away from home nursing sessions. I’ve always found it very difficult to breastfeed anywhere other than my rocking chair at home. With this pillow though, I can get myself and baby into a comfortable position anywhere! It’s a little bulky to lug into, say a library for story time, but it works great for in the car, at a hotel or someone else’s house, or just for other areas of my house so I’m not confined to the nursery in order to be comfortable. I love that it has adjustable cushions (1, 2 or 3 levels) to bring baby up to you so you can maintain good posture and not kill your back! There’s also a spot for a heating pad that is a nice touch. Overall highly recommend!

You can either leave them all in for a newborn or start taking them out once baby gets a little bigger and doesn’t need the height to nurse anymore. I love the color it’s very neutral and it has pockets!! Like you can put some nipple cream in them and have it right on hand once you are done nursing. Love this pillow

Highly recommend this product. You build your own height which makes this my preferred nursing pillow. The pockets are an added bonus!
