I was so happy to have found this…I literally could not sit, I had to stand or lay down. I saw that it was available in Canada and decided to try it and I’m so glad I did. Everything hurt so bad so when I tried it and sat down I literally cried at the relief it gave me. Only downside is the cooling piece doesn’t stay cool for too long but with the cooling pads from FridaMom was perfect but it did add cushioning so I don’t care. I took this everywhere and if I forgot it at home I went back just to get it!! For mothers or expecting mothers I cannot recommend this enough especially if you tore during birth!!

This lasted exactly ONE day, but it was a beautiful, painfree day. It works great, doesn't compress too much like memory foam donuts, has a flatter design, less rounded to prevent my legs from going nuts. Really loved it... then the next day it was deflating. I used a drop of soapy water to find the leak, it is on the sharp inner edge of the valve. So this is just poor design by Frida. If they had curved, or softer materials used for the valve this probably wouldn't happen. I tried super glue and pvc sealant, but neither bonded with the PU of the donut. The PU doesn't offgas though, another point in this pillow's favor, but yeah. It leaks. Haven't found a way to seal it yet.

Doesn't stay inflated. I had to get a replacement for a cushion with a leak, wait two weeks for the new one, and am unsure if the new one also has a leak.
Great idea, poor execution

I had used inflatable cushions before but they didn’t have a cover. The inflatability was nice but the price point for what it is worth is overrated. The ice pack was kind of silly, and the bumps put more pressure on already sore areas. I found the disposable ice packs were so much better-and way cheaper.

I was so excited to try this with my 2nd baby but I was disappointed. It is way to firm and not thick enough overall for tailbone pain after birth.

Good support. Had to manually inflate (blow up), as it did not auto-inflate. Used without the ice pack on a glider- caused butt to fall asleep during nursing. Useful for short periods only.

Might Be Returning This Pillow. Really needed this to work because of pain. Used Twice. I Followed The instruction Cards That Come With The Box. The Small Card Says To Inflate The Pillow Yourself for first initial use. Did That. Air lasted overnight and into a full work day. The End Of The Day I Took The Air Out Of It, Rolled The Pillow Like The Other Card In The Box Stated, And Tried To Use It The Next Day To See If It Would Auto Inflate. It Didn't. After Over A Minute the Image Attached Is How Inflated The Pillow Got On It's Own. The Ice Pack Was Great, For Literally Maybe An Hour. I'm Not A Super Hot Natured Person But I Was Definitely Expecting The Frozen Sponge Material To Last Longer. If Anyone Keeps This pillow Maybe Find A Ice Pack That Fits In The Pouch And Be Prepared To Inflate The Pillow Yourself. Really Disappointed Because This seemed Like A Great Brand.

The self-inflate function never worked, and it deflates within a day if I blow it up manually. Defective units happen, but it's a bad indication of quality control when the thing can't do the one job it is designed for.

Used less than a week, first never inflated itself, second it deflated quickly after 4 or 5 days of use and if you blow it back after few minutes it’s flat again, for $40 it’s not a good one, I’m return it to the store soon

If I could give it zero stars I would. It’s suppose to auto inflat and it definitely does not. The valve makes is hard to even blow it up yourself. Will be returning immediately. Never able to actual use it; which is disappointing. Going old school with the old plain donut.

Weighing 160 and handling it delicately only afforded me about 3 days of comfort. I remember sitting on it, feeling a pop followed by a slow deflation. I couldn’t get it to retain air going forward. Given the price and my dashed hopes of some level of comfort, I was very disappointed.

After one week of use it won’t stay inflated. I thought I had a defective one, but from the most recent reviews, it’s clear it’s a design defect. Btw I weigh 150 lbs so it’s not an issue related to weight past product max weight.

The cushion won’t stay inflated. I used it for 2 weeks prior to delivery and now I can’t sit on it for more than 10 minutes before it’s flat. I have nothing for post delivery now. I am not a large person and would’ve expected much more use from a $40 cushion.
