From selfies to amazing zoom and focus quality this little guy packs a punch. The film is incredibly easy to load and we bought multiple packs for endless memories.

It is also VERY durable and heavy duty! It feels very sturdy and it actually has some weight to it! The size is also awesome! It is pretty big which I really like! This camera comes with the camera, batteries and a strap. It is very easy to set it up. You just put the batteries in and the film in, and you are ready to go! I really like the shape of this camera! It is square and just looks so modern and nice! There are also a couple of modes you can use. “ON” is for shots at a distance. “Selfie” is for selfie close ups. And of course “OFF” turns it off. Switching between modes is very easy too. You just twist the lens and voila! Then, you just push the gray button to take a picture. The pictures all turn out nice too and develop fast! I absolutely love this instant camera and I highly recommend it! Pros: quality, durable, great pictures Cons: none

I was so impressed with the simplicity of use and how easy it was to capture awesome photos that pop right out as soon as you take the picture! The ease of use is phenomenal; just twist it to turn and off and twist for selfie mode! This camera has allowed me to take more instant photos that I can enjoy right at my fingertips! No more waiting in line to pick up prints, no longer scrolling through my phone to submit prints to the local photofinishing establishment. It’s as simple as point, click and pic within a matter of seconds.

It even has a little mirror on the front for selfies. Putting the film in was easy, just open the back and insert. I only wish it came in a bigger box. Unfortunately you only get 10 pictures per film.

It’s definitely instant gratification, if you want to capture a picture in the moment and hold it in your hands. It’s like the difference between reading an E-book and holding a real book in your hands. It really is a blast from the past. The camera has two settings: on and selfie. I used the camera indoors and I definitely recommend good lightning. The pictures have the look and feel of an old Polaroid. It’s quick. Indoor lightning is tricky. I recommend using the selfie mode for closeups in good lighting and placing the camera on a stable surface. Outdoors in better, more ambient light I feel gives a better result. When I moved the pictures were overexposed some. The lens rotates and you can adjust it. You have to look through the lens to take pictures and in selfie mode there is a mirror on the front that you can use to see yourself. Overall, super fun, kids love it, and is fun to throw in your scrapbook. I give it a five out of five because it reminds me of my childhood and was a lot of fun to use.

The pictures are nice and clear and develops very quickly. The camera itself is easy to handle unlike other camera definitely great for selfish and even a small hand of a child.

My teenage daughter loves borrowing it for decorating her room. She and her friends have a lot of fun with it. The quality is decent, about what you would expect from instant film camera. The body of the camera is very cute and has a nice grip. I really like the size. I think it looks a bit more expensive and professional than it is, which I think is one reason my kids love using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The INSTAX SQUARE SQ40 Instant Camera is an excellent, easy to use, retro camera! It comes with 2 CR2 batteries which are easy to install as is the film. It is a great size, not too heavy and straight forward to use. Load the film, turn the dial to switch on the camera and you are ready to snap your pictures. There is also a selfie mode, turn the dial to selfie mode, frame yourself in the selfie mirror to the side of the lens and take your picture. The camera has an automatic flash, perfect for indoors and low light. The picture takes around 90 seconds to develop and after downloading the Instax Up app on my iPhone I can scan the image to store and share it digitally. The camera uses instax® SQUARE” instant film and comes in lots of fun styles, monochrome, sunset, rainbow and others. A fun camera!

The small size of the camera makes it easy to toss in my purse to bring with me on a spontaneous adventure. I do wish it held more exposures at one time, because changing the film frequently is the least fun part of it. It's easy to do but I just wish it was less frequent. The selfie mirror is a godsend because it allows me to avoid a bunch of wasted shots because I can get it just right the first time. I am really happy with how easy this camera was to use.

This Instax square camera is the new and modern version of it and takes me back to my childhood and how fun it is to use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The insta sq 40 camera is simple to use and provides a cute Polaroid picture that develops in approx 90 seconds. The pictures are good quality. You simply turn the dial to on to take a picture and the Polaroid comes out from the top. There is a selfie mode on the dial that you are able to use with a small square mirror on the front of the camera to take selfies. The cons: I have come accustomed to looking at my phone camera to take pictures so it was an adjustment to look through a small lens to focus on the picture I would like to take. The location where the film is loaded has a latch to open it up. I felt this was something very easy to open and could be opened with film inside since it didn’t have a locked feature. The pros: a cute nostalgic picture. With everything digital, I rarely develop pictures so nice to have a printed copy. The kids love it. A nice simple compact square camera with a camera strap for ease with carrying. The camera creates bright images with automatic exposure. I will enjoy having this camera and using it on special occasions.

It was easy to install the batteries and was basically ready to go right out of the box. It took great pictures with an old school vibe. It was very easy for her to operate and she had it down pat in seconds. A little larger than a regular camera, but slimmer than the instant cameras of the past. Lots of nostalgia seeing this camera in action. It printed pictures quickly and crisply. What a fun product and really cool too!
