Luxe Sculpted Faux Fur Comforter and Sham Set - Threshold™

I didn't read the description on this comforter, and purchased it by the appearance; thus, I was disappointed that it's more like a giant throw than a duvet cover. BUT, husband loved it (we've had the same bedding for about seven years), so I kept it. It's warm! If the overnight temperatures remain above 50*F, we don't turn on the heat, and this blanket is surprisingly warm. Also, we have dogs: two medium and a tiny, so I needed something that hyper medium-sized puppy wouldn't damage when she jumps on the bed. Tiny dog loves this and gives her approval. PROS: Soft. Comfortable. Easy to wash and dry. Warm! CONS: I don't have extra-large capacity appliances, and this king sized comforter has me drive to the local laundromat for a thorough and speedy wash. Just FYI.

So soft! I washed it as soon as I brought it home and it turned out great with no mats. If I were picky, I could note the hand feel is ever so slightly different from the original, (like it’s not as slick feeling), but it's still super soft with no difference in appearance. I washed it on delicate in my home washing machine, which has a 5 cubic ft capacity (Google says 4.5 cubic ft is considered large, which the instructions recommended). Then, I put it on delicate in the dryer about 6x before it was finally dry. Totally worth it in my books, especially since I bought it on sale for 40% off during their bedding sale. I hope it holds up after multiple washes, as this will become a large blanket rather than a duvet in my household!

This was our most favorite comforter EVER that we had ever had—until after we washed it. I took it to a laundromat where they had large commercial washing and drying machines. Followed instructions and now it is matted and crunchy and disgusting. I am totally confused of how to wash this. If anybody has found a way I’d really like to understand what they did differently. And I feel like target should reimburse me for incorrect washing instructions. There must be a better way to wash and keep the soft cushy silky fabric as when it was purchased. If it’s dry clean, only that should have been on the label.

Super soft, I love it, but it's a little warm. Even in the Winter ... in FL , it's still to warm. Looking for something lighter now.

This is such a cozy, beautifully made comforter. It has a very expensive look and feel to it. It fits perfectly on my queen size bed and comes with 2 shams. The faux fur is so soft and will keep us very warm on cold winter nights.
