Bernard King, NBA Hall of Famer and a college basketball legend, was one of the most explosive scorers in the history of the NBA. Though his NBA career included major knee reconstruction -- costing him two years in the prime of his career -- King returned to the court despite great odds. He proved skeptics wrong when, at thirty-four, he became the oldest player at that time to start on an NBA All-Star team.
