I don’t know why people say is salty! Did you guys change the recipe because that was not my experience at all!. The high sodium did scare me 😥 but the food was delicious! Perfect for a quick bite but not to eat it often, that much sodium is crazy lol

It was ok, I didn't really feel like the sauce paired well with the mix, and the "Be'f" didn't have much of a beefy texture or taste. It wasn't particularly bad, the taste was fine, but it didn't meet my expectations considering the other options out there

The other three Gardein Ultimate bowl varieties are WAY better than this one. I found the “beef” bits to be weirdly sponge-y. The broccoli varies a lot. The first bowl I had was lots of florets and maintained some crunch. Other bowls were mostly stems. I keep all three other varieties on hand, and I’ve stopped buying this one — kind of a shame since it had higher protein. The sauce in this meal is SUPER good though.

If you like your salt with food in it, this meal is for you! Constructive criticism: put the sauce in a separate packet so the consumer decides how much to add. Even the addition of plain rice and veggies to this meal was too salty.

I bought a pack of these in wholesale store yesterday. I should have looked at the sodium content before buying . The amount of sodium is unreal, and it ruined the taste. Besides the fact that all that sodium is not good for you. The remained 3 packages are headed for the trash.

The broccoli was fine, nothing extraordinary. The rice also was just rice. The sauce was good considering this is a microwaved meal. But the only reason I gave this 3 stars was for the disgusting “beef” substitute that tasted and resembled dog food. I am plenty versed in vegan meat substitutes, and this substitute was by far the worst I’ve EVER had. Completely ruined my dinner and was literally inedible due to its texture and taste. In my opinion.

A few months ago I adopted a vegan diet since my partner is vegan and insisted on it as a condition for the relationship. After a lot of experimentation in looking for some quick frozen meals to replace the products I used to eat, I've decided that this Be'f and Broccoli bowl is now one of my favourite dinner items. The taste is amazing, it has just the right spice level (sometimes I actually cut up fresh Thai chili peppers and add them in to make it spicier), and the texture and taste of the be'f is pretty decent too!

I've eaten enough meat substitutes that I knew that the chunks of beef were going to be textured like meat substitute. I enjoyed the broccoli in terms of texture and quantity, and the rice is rather instant rice-like. So far OK, all things considered. But the sauce is disgusting. It tastes overwhelmingly of vinegar. I grew up cooking with rice vinegar, and this is not how you're supposed to use it. Even on sale this is not worth it!

So disappointed I tried the bowl and couldn’t eat it because it was SO salty. Made it inedible. I don’t expect ultra processed frozen meals to be super healthy, but this is ridiculous!

My husband brought this and made this for dinner for me . I thought it was going to be a healthy dish . I am so disappointed that it contain so much sodium ?? About 890 mg to be exact ! Are you serious ? I was so sick from it . Pl I will make sure we do not get this again or any of your products !

I was overwhelmingly pleasantly surprised by this dish. I had high hopes for it, and it did not smell great while microwaving so I let it sit for a bit, took it out and decided to try it. It was great! I appreciate the flavorful Ness of the sauce, the tenderness of the so-called beef chunks, and although the broccoli looked over done, it was still not mushy. I’m going to load up on these as they are a quick easy and fabulous meal.

The be'f's texture is more like a meatball than a chunk of beef/steak, but otherwise this is a very good frozen dinner, good flavor and heats up well.

I was not expecting the pleasure that I received when taking my first mouth full of this plant based beef ("be'f") & broccoli!! 😯 Wow! Really good and filling too!! 👍🏾 I only purchased one bc I only wanted to try it out, I sure wish I had purchased more!!! All I imagined was it tasting like cardboard, I was sooooo wrongggg! 🤷 It has a lil kick to it too - tangy, not spicy hot. Really yummy! 😋😋 Glad I tried it, will definitely purchase more!!!
