Only to discover that every time you bring your cat out for a walk (leashed, of course), she makes a beeline for your stack of cloches and settles in for a nice bit of hidden surveillance. Now how do I stop those squirrels? (jk, the solution is obvious. More cloches.). Immensely grateful for these in their intended purpose, too. Once I get things established the squirrels find easier places to dig, but these make all the difference for getting them started!

Purchased multiple, 3-in-1 Chicken Wire Cloches and also the round Chicken Wire Cloches. Read some reviews concerned about rust on this item, but if you look closely, you'll see that the the cloches are splattered with white and brick colored spots, which I'm guessing is some kind of protective or decorative coating. I immediately spray painted my cloches with Rustoleum in varying shades of brown because I think it makes for a more attractive presentation, especially when covering flowers. The round cloches fit nicely over varying sizes of round planters and I find the round extensions very useful as plants grow and require more room. I can take the cloches on and off and clip hail fabric to them as needed for protection during storms.
I would buy this chicken wire cloche again!

I live in the country, Bunnies, love to eat my flower blooms and my lettuce, etc.not this year! I have tried to make protective covers, they have never worked, these do. Thank you! I will eat fresh lettuce and enjoy seeing my flowers!

I love how this product is perfect for our needs. As a gardener I am always looking for ways to minimize the ravage of the deer population. So far they are not bothering our seedlings and I feel blessed.

I use these horizontally with lettuce and spinach, and vertically with perennial sorrel. I just bought 3 more to add to those I purchased two years ago.

If you want the metal to be a consistent color be sure to buy all the cloches that you need at one time so that the look in your yard will be attractive. I've ordered about 6 cloches over the last two years. Sometimes they are an attractive dark metal that blends well with the landscape. Other times they are a garish, shiny silver that stands out rather than blending in. When I called about this issue, I was told that it varies among vendors. However, the photo online and in the catalog is always the dark metal cloche so you don't know that you may receive the more garish one. I won't be buying these again since I have no way to insure that I'll get the dark metal ones.

We ordered the smaller covers and was disappointed that there was not available a choice of sections to add in between the end pieces. There was middle sections available for the larger set only.

I got these last year and do love them/use often but unfortunately they have started rusting around the handles on top. The handles, by the way, are really only decorative since they are awkward to use. I think in general these could be designed to be more practical and aren't quite worth the price, but they do help.
