They bend in high winds - maybe they are too tall

Have used these for 2 years. They are very tall which was why I bought them. In Dallas we get high winds periodically. When the vines were full and high wind hit, they didn't just fall over, they bent and are now not usable. I'm going back to the square all metal straight cages which can be pushed over in high winds, but don't bend and become unusable. And actually those stayed up during the high winds last summer.
Still going strong after 7 year

They take some time to assemble but are quite sturdy. Using them on the grandiflora and shrub roses primarily. They also provide a good visual barrier to the crazy dog that visits occasionally
Lightweight but sturdy

We liked the way these snapped together. The rings are plastic and are adjustable on the metal rods. This is the first season of using them and so far we are impressed. Plan is to purchase more if they hold up through the growing season.

Got a bit tangled up putting them together initially, but got there in the end. Nice size, and sturdy.
Rings are plastic with no metal in them and they bend

I'm extremely dissatisfied with this product. Despite the attractive photos, the rings turned out to be plastic though the stakes are sturdy. I should have paid close attention to other reviews. When I tried to return them, the company informed me that I would have to pay for return shipping, which is more than $50 because I was not satisfied with the item. And the reason provided was that the rings had been tested in their gardens and were sturdy. Overall, I'm very disappointed with my experience with returns.

Good size and much roomier while still having support; however, I wasn't expecting so much plastic. Should have paid better attention to other comments! Think they are pretty smart design -- just not so into materials. Watch that you don't put hoops on upside down as I did -- function is fine, but will catch/hold water - uh oh if you live in a mosquito sanctuary lie we do.
I would buy this product again

Since the tomatoes are still small, I cannot be certain that they will be as supportive as I suspect they will be.

It took a while but I finally received the cages today. Took me about an hour to assemble all three cages. Once I got the second ring on, it was easier from there and I figured out a way to push the poles onto the rings easier than what the instructions directed me to do so it just went faster after assembling the first cage.

Perfect to use for us as a cage for our blueberry push, it is a bit difficult to snap together. Hope it will last many years to come.
Works great... Needs improvment in how product is shipped.

I actually bought the tomato cages to support my Hibiscus plants. They are sturdy, easy to get in the ground and it is the only support that I have found that is tall enough to support my very tall and bushy Hibiscus. I like that they are weather resistant, therefore there is no pulling up and having to take up storage space in the garage, in the winter months.

These definitely look higher quality in photos. I was surprised to see that it was basically all plastic. It doesn't feel like the tubes even have steel in them. Putting them together was a pain and took quite a while. As I progressed to the top, the other ones who undo itself which was annoying to say the least. For the price is pretty hefty for what it is and where it's made. Wished I would've just re ordered the vortex ones I got last time. Those are better quality, easier set up, for just a little more.
Took a bit to assemble

I thought I would need to return these as I'm older and do not have the hand strength to assemble them. I figured out a work around and it worked well. Agree with another responder - attach one post to all rings not one ring to all posts. Haven't used them yet so can't comment on how they function. Before starting, assemble the posts as directed making sure they are all the same height. Put all 5 posts lined up evenly on a hard, flat surface. Measure from the bottom, pointed end up 20". Place a strip of blue painter's tape across all 5 poles and do the same every 11" to the top. Press the tape down and cut between the poles. Now with a couple of taps from a rubber mallet place all the rings at the marked intervals on one pole. Turn and put in the next pole, turn and repeat.
