Garmin Approach S70 with Silicone Band

Love it so much wish I had more time to golf. Better than my fitbit, no app fees, and works great on the course.

This is my second Garmin watch. I love the play like feature. My only complaint is that the Garmin Golf app needs to be on to get the weather.

I haven’t worn my Apple Watch since I got the S70. That’s how good it is. Loaded with great features for golf and everyday use. Can’t say enough about how much I love the watch but the Garmin Golf App is terrible. It looks like Garmin came up with this app sometime around 2005 and hasn’t updated it since. Visually unappealing and so clunky to use. My biggest gripe is not being able to go back in and fix yardage mistakes. For example it does a good job with shots leading up to the greens but once there it kind of just guesses where your approach shot landed. When you edit the shot later, you can’t move it to where it actually ended up. There’s a “edit distance” button but it doesn’t do anything. This can throw off your club distance averages by 20-30 yards. Come on Garmin, catch up to the other shot tracking apps out there. You have a fantastic watch product matched up with garbage software.

Like the watch. Goes dark too often during round. Also keeps connecting and disconnecting from phone.

I played 9 holes and it did not record a single shot or ask me for which club i hit. I returned it

The S70 is a lightweight watch with incredible battery life and great ease of use. The touch screen face is awesome.

I was a skeptic at first. I’m a huge Apple Watch guy for my fitness and this blew it out of the water for my overall health, sleep, and battery life. If you golf. This is also super awesome with distances and keeping track.

I live in a cold winter environment so I'm anxious to get some more time on the course with this watch. I did take it out once for 15 holes and found it to be extremely accurate. But for now the heart monitor, morning announcements, text alerts and more- keep me wearing it every day anyway. I love it.

Could not be happier with this watch. It does everything I wanted, golf, walking, cycling, heart rate, steps, sleep monitoring.

Got the watch for Christmas and compared to previous Garmin watches, measures home statistics well. Tomorrow will be the first time i use it on the golf course, a primary reason for the upgrade so it is a wait and see.

The S70 is a very good smart watch that includes golf functions. If you just want a golf watch, the S70 may offer too much. There are other golf watches that are pretty much just golf. So unless the plan is to use the S70 for mod than golf, it is not worth the the extra cost.

I have had the S70 for a couple of weeks now and really like it. The battery life it great, last 2 weeks on a charge. I would recommend this watch for any golfer.

My S60 is a good watch. The S70 is great. I can’t believe he charging speed.

I’ve had this watch for a little over a year now. I used to rely heavily on my rangefinder but I use it very rarely now. It’s much more efficient to know front, middle, and back yardages to the green. It also helps your tee shots to identify any trouble on dog legs that are blind off the tee. Using the app on the phone is helpful as well.

Bought a few weeks ago. Has great features. Accurate distances when golfing. The display is easy to read even when bright outside.

The course view is beautiful. Very easy to enter score, but the previous version tracked putts and penalty strokes. I miss that feature. Golfers love stats.

The battery life is great, and it is easy to pre load my golf course before my trips!

Had the watch for a few weeks and so far I really like all of the features that I’ve discovered. I just need to further my knowledge of how it, and they all work.
