Q: Is this semi truck friendly.. meaning bridge heights available or semi truck height I can input to guide me away from small bridges to still get to my destination??

Garmin does have a Dezi series desiged for Truck Drivers, however at this time Target does not have that sereies of GPS. I bought this three weeks ago and I’ve been trying to different functions on it. I like what I can get, but I wish that I couldn’t get voice command without using my phone. The screen size is wonderful. It is very clear and I can see the details clearly. This is my third Garmin.

Garmin drive smart 65. With software version 10.20. I am self employed employed and use gps for 28 years in my carpet cleaning business. This is the worst unit I have ever used. I have to go into rural areas and in the back Country to work. This gps takes me down gated farm roads, logging roads, and non existing roads, causing me to back track many miles and be late for my appointments.

We purchased this 4 months ago. I had a TomTom then Garmin 55 with the camera, I wish I paid the extra for it on this one. I am disappointed with the updates no longer accessible w/o using a computer. However I do know the cost of having the servers for that is not justified, I guess. I just like having GPS not dependant on my cell signal. Thanks for keeping some stand a lone unuts available for those who do not having everything lost when one piece of equipment craps out.

I like the size of the screen and the high resolution, brightness, etc. It's easy to navigate, clear directions both on the map and how to navigate the GPS itself. The problems are there: I've updated after purchase and rec'd all the NA maps successfully. No more to download. Yet it has no clue of the streets w/in 3 miles of my suburban home. Says some don't even exist while they've been there for decades. Total disbelief but because of that, total distrust. It also took me LONG way out of the way on a trip downtown. So, it's a defective unit IMO. Finally, it is big, and in a BMW335 there is no place it'll stick except the windshield, and there it blocks vision. So, it's going back.

I had a nuvi2599 and was happy with it until the mini SDcard kept falling out of the sleeve underneath the device,thus obstructing the navigation. Instead I purchase the Driver Smart65 giving a larger screen amnd more specific information.Top!

I really enjoy my Garmin 65. The large screen is a big advantage over the small screen on my previous unit. I appreciate the way it switches the screen back and forth to highlight congested lane areas and the speed tone is nice to signal a change in speed, which is not always noted on the road signs, or may be blocked by another vehicle.

I drive DX for a car company. I make trips everywhere!! This gets me there ,warns me of troubled areas and reroutes me as needed. Redlight camera warning. Needs radar warnings and it would be unbeatable..

I bought the BC-40 Backup Camera not long ago. I rarely used it except for a few occasions to check whether it was working or not. After just over 12 months, the camera did not work anymore. Changing new batteries, repeated attempts of paring it with my Garmin DriveSmart navigator did not help. Very disappointed.

I like the Drive Smart 65 unit that I have, but I have encountered routing that is really strange and directs me to go on poor roads and bad directions. Also, even after updating it, there are significant roads that have been in place for several years that are not shown on the maps. WHY? How can this be corrected? I am so frustrated! I keep going back to Google Maps on my phone. I really want to be able to rely on this. I have used Garmin GPS's for many years because I like them as they are easy to use.
