After 3 weeks of use, it's very obvious the Enduro 3 has fantastic battery life. After two weeks of heavy use, daily workouts of 1-4 hours and I still had 20% battery left. The MIP screen is great and beautiful to use outside. 3rd party watch faces work well, many don't effect the battery compared to the ones provided in the watch. Highly recommended.
Hits all the marks!

As an Apple Watch user since nearly the original release, I realized I was paying enough monthly fees to get the Apple Watch to give me the kind of insights and features that come free with the Garmin to justify exploring whether it makes sense to cancel all of them and make the switch. My primary activities are lifting, hiking, golf -- and increasingly running. I didn't realize how much more motivating the Garmin infrastructure would be to drive my fitness to new heights. I valued getting phone notifications on my wrist with the Apple Watch, but I rarely took actions on the watch. It usually served as a reason to ignore the buzzing phone or to grab the phone and take action. In this use case, the Garmin shines and even basic interactions like responding "OK" or "Yes"/"No" to a text have been fine. Apple Watch has a more robust app store, for sure, but with the built-in functionality of the Garmin watch, I don't really miss it. The insights I get from the Garmin are far superior than what I had cobbled together with several subscription apps. The Garmin Morning Report feels indispensable. The ability to set cardio training based on specific races coming up has been great and pushed me to train differently -- and resulted in a personal best effort in my latest race. Battery life is insane. I'm doing a LOT of activities and it looks like about 3+ weeks between charges will be the norm. I did a lab test for VO2 Max, heart rate zones, etc. The Garmin was within a small rounding error vs the lab studies. The lab tech geeked out with me comparing the two, and he said he is going to consider swapping his Apple Watch Ultra 2 for a Garmin after seeing how they stacked up. The only disappointment is the strength training interface. I'm still using my Fitbod app -- the only app I continue to subscribe to that I had hoped to replace. Hopefully Garmin will make an acquisition and elevate this tracking in the future. I am happy with the MIP display and prefer it over AMOLED. The size is totally fine and I sleep with it every night. Took a few days to get used to wearing it 24/7. In all honesty, the Enduro 3 is overkill for my needs as a mid-40s dude who exercises but it's spot on for my wants.
If you're reading this buy the watch already

I got this watch a few months ago and it haven't regretted it for a moment. First things first, I have only had to charge it 3 times since I bought it back at the beginning of the year (like 3-4 months ago!) the battery's life is phenomenal. I got this watch because I wanted to get back into shape and decided to start running, swimming, biking, etc. And this watch has been amazing for that! Not only does it track my activities accurately (and auto upload them to Strava) it provides recommendations of workouts to do, and lets me set up weight room workouts for cross training days. I feel healthier and happier since getting this watch not due entirely to it but due to the lifestyle that came with it. If you made it this far do yourself a favor and just buy the watch already, you won't regret it.

Battery life is insane. Even with running about 40 miles a week I barely make a dent on the battery life and the solar actually works.

The Enduro 3 rocks !!! I switched from Apple Ultra. Have to admit that I miss the tight Apple integration - Calendar, Reminders, and the ability to respond to txt message on Apple Watch - but those items are offset by the insane battery life and extensive training metrics. I get about 14 to 15 days from each charge cycle. Body Battery and Sleep Coach have given me insights I didn't know I needed, and Garmin has "Connect", a proper web based application to dive into the extensive training stats, and you can actually download / export the data. Highly recommend the Enduro 3. Get it !!

....I finally broke as the battery would probably not quite last a very long run with music. I wanted to stop having to think about battery and charging early morning to make sure it will last a long run + a full day. So -- got the Enduro 3. I view the change as having a few extremes. Some things are so much better on Apple and others so much better on Garmin. Pros: - Much better look. I hate the square Apple watch and I love the rugged Garmin look - Battery - I think the overall data / coaching aspect when in a training plan ahead of an event is significantly better on Garmin Cons: - The screen graphics (not a big thing for me, I thought) is woeful. It reminds me graphic calculators from high school 25 years ago. - The app store environment. I am very unhappy with the watch face options. The whole thing looks very unprofessional. - Integration with Apple Health on my iPhone. I didn't research this since I assumed Garmin data will flow through seamlessly. A bunch of the data doesn't flow through. E.g. HRV, wrist temp, respiratory rate, VO2 Max. The Apple Vitals are no longer useable. - I should haven realized this ahead of time. The solar ring actually takes up a lot of watch face space Overall -- I think the Garmin is better for me. It comes down to the battery and the look.
Pretty good

I bought this about a month ago and so far really enjoy its features. Everything is relatively easy to figure out. I’m not as impressed trying to upload a trail on a map. It seems like this portions needs more work
Everything you need and looks great!

Battery life: To preface this, I have had an competitors watch the past few years and enjoyed it, however the battery life wouldnt get me through the day. I received my enduro 3 two weeks ago and i still have an estimated 9 days left on my battery! The solar charging works pretty well especially if you spend time outdoors, although it also charges when you’re driving if it’s in the sun. Overall very happy with the battery life. Watch size: This was my biggest worry when buying this watch. I had a 44mm watch before and upgraded to this one which was a 51mm and i wasnt sure how it would fit. While large the watch ended up fitting pretty well on my wrist. I wish there was a way to test out the size before hand for better piece of mind. Features: Fantastic features, it feels like it is better calibrated to what I do than my previous watch. I thought it was a gimmick, but the flash light is actually great! No longer need to find my phone to walk around in the dark. I love the red light feature also! Overall, I wouldnt change anything about this watch so far. I would absolutely recommend if you are looking for a long lasting watch that has most of garmins great features. I will absolutely buy another Garmin if I ever need one.

I have had my enduro 3 for about two weeeks now. I have had the enduro and enduro 2. I can honestly say the feature set and battery life of the enduro 3 is excellent. So far I have done 11 activities and as it sets I have 36 days of estimated battery life left. Most excellent watch, if you are looking for a Garmin watch don’t pass it up!!!!
Great look and feel

Great watch for long battery life and ease of use. Can see the display in all light conditions and the touch screen works when you want. So much lighter than my fénix 5x.

If you are training for any endurance sport this is definitely a awesome watch to have. Battery life is great with solar and using maps super interactive and very easy to get routes. I love this thing running thru the white mountains and has definitely helped my triathlon and ultra training

Ive had this watch for some time now and although it truly is a great watch I wanted it for the batterie life and that does not live up to what is stated on the website. I don't do very long activities. One run a day so my recording is not consuming too much. I keep my brightness on low with a lock screen time of 8 seconds. Ive googled all the recommended setting changes for extending the life of my batterie and I still get about 10 days of batterie life. I work all day out in the sun and the solar is constantly getting sunlight and it has had no effect on helping my battery stay charged or charge the batterie itself. Still I would recommend this watch for the great design and capabilities but the batterie life is not what is promised.

I had a Garmin Fenix 5S for 7 years and loved it. I finally upgraded and chose the enduro over the new fenix because of the weight alone. ITS SO LIGHT WEIGHT. I am a female with smaller wrists and was slightly worried about the 51mm face. My fenix was a 51 as well, but I was still concerned with the easy fit band it may seem bigger? I was wrong, it's definitley a big face, but doesn't bother me at all. It doesn't dig into my wrist and the band is SO NICE and easy on and off. I'm telling you, if you want a do it all watch that is also light weight, this is the one. The Battery life is insane and I charge it maybe once every 2 weeks, with doing an hour+ activity daily. Awesome data and features.
Long battery life and great tracker.

This fitness tracker is far superior to my Apple Watch. It precisely accomplishes my fitness goals and provides exceptionally valuable insights following workouts. I also appreciate the solar power feature, which was a deciding factor in my decision to switch. If you’re seeking specific health reports after any workouts, this tracker is an excellent choice.
