This was my first smart watch and I am very impressed with the abilities. I got this mainly for cycling, hiking, and just doing things around. I use Garmin products on my bike and wanted something that would integrate with my sensors, but something I could take hiking. Originally I was looking at Garmin Edge 1050, but it did not play well with being off the bike, so I started looking at watches. The Pheonix 8 did not have great reviews and seen the Epix 2 Pro and how people really liked the product, and I can see why. The Epix Pro 2 51mm is amazing on the data it can collect and I love the clarity of the watch face. The only issue is with the band, it is soft, but does not feel well on the hand.

The 454 pixel resolution along with the largest size and color display is the most important feature to me - I can see all the terrific data the epix is providing. Also, the larger battery is more useful to me than the mostly unused by me solar charging feature of my previous Garmin. I am very satisfied after going up to this level of a Garmin.

Incredible tech on my wrist! I have Insite on my health that give me a forecast of my health today and in the future. I wish I had this when I started my health journey a year ago so I could track my progress I have made. I love the Garmin phone app that breaks it down on tracking my progress.

I was an Apple Watch user for years trying to piece together the fitness information I wanted. Garmin provides all the in depth training metrics I was looking for in one spot. I wish I would have changed over sooner. If you’re more interested in smart features and cellular connectivity get Apple. If you want serious training and tracking metrics, get Garmin, hands down!

I bought this a week before Thanksgiving and it has been an absolute delight to have. I previously had a Fenix 5x sapphire that I purchased when it first came out. I never thought I would upgrade till it started showing signs of its age and glitching. The AMOLED screen is what sold me on the Epix. I was looking to do a Fenix7. Absolutely amazing watch

I’ve had this about a month so far it’s an excellent watch battery lasts about 6 days much shorter then my garmin instant but I have color and I can see it in the dark lol I just did a 17 mile hike and still have 76% battery left will definitely would recommend this watch

I am thrilled with this watch look-a-like, can-do-it-all watch computer. Better than any single bike computer alone, much more than a smart-watch, this is the swiss-army knife of all the watches. You want health and wellness indicators? Training metrics? A cycling coach? To control your bike trainer? A flashlight at night, a bike light at night? This watch can do it all. I was already very impressed with the Fenix 3 HR way back when it came out, Venu 3 last year but I am blown away by the Epix now. As an icing on the cake, this mega watch only weighs 65 grams with the ultrafit nylon strap, so comfy that I dont even notice it in my sleep. What a watch engineering marvel. Thank you Garmin. PS. I sold my watch collection of 8 watches due to this watch as, at my age, I can not afford to wear anything else :)

This watch is amazing. I debated for a while ordering it as it is definitely expensive but it’s worth the price depending on your needs. I upgraded from an Apple Watch and the difference is night and day. I use this for training and I record everything and it shows me every little detail, even details I didn’t even realize I wanted (Torch!) and more. The battery life is also amazing. The battery life is phenomenal as well. I use this with Music and GPS every day and the battery lasts me 10 days easily. The Apple Watch wouldn’t even last a day. TLDR; if you’re on the fence and a current Apple Watch owner it depends on your needs. If you want a smartwatch to use apps and have other functionality this probably isn’t for you. But if you want a rock solid watch that is virtually indestructible and gives you all the data you need and more for training purposes you won’t find a better companion than the Garmin Epix Pro.

I was looking for a more traditional yet high end looking watch that had all the features of the smart watch I had worn for years. I absolutely love this watch. The features are fantastic, it integrates all my health stats and has perks that the other watch kind of lacked. Very happy with the purchase and will use Garmin for a long time.

I like the watch. However, it is very buggy and I cannot get the light on/off to save my life. I have tried repeatedly to figure out what the problem is but I see nothing. There seems to be a software glitch of sorts.
