I'm mostly satisfied with the watch. It's a great build, as are all Fenix watches. I had to purchase this because my Fenix 6 had a hardware failure. I do regret the purchase a bit knowing now that Garmin shifted a flagship unit to software maintenance mode after only a year and a half on the market. Garmin products are still solid but the company isn't what it used to be.

I have had this watch for over a month now and love it. I have Garmin Connect on my Android it works great, pairs quickly with the watch with no issues. I rarely take it off and use it to work on my sleep, physical activity and to keep me from getting lost, lol. I wish I had purchased one sooner.

The watch is great, never leaves my wrist other than to charge. Gives me really good insights into my body and helps challenge me to do more and be better with fitness. It tracks weight lifting really well, with very close to zero correction from me. Some stuff it doesn't get without being told, like planking and sit-ups. Pushups, squats, curls, bench press, it's great for tracking that and logging walks / runs. The default band is really comfortable and so it the watch it self. It's not overly big and the mips display is GREAT outside in direct sun, very easy to see. 10/10 if you train every day, do general fitness and want to track it, or just want to be healthier. I will say, the price is very high but the durability it's worth it. If you don't need sapphire screen or titanium body, go with an instinct.

Upgraded to the Fenix 7 pro after my Vivoactive 4 screen began to delaminate. I’ve been wearing Garmin watches for over a decade. The functionality and rugged durability of this Fenix 7 takes me back to wearing the original Garmin Tactix while in the military. I have a Forerunner 945 that I really like for its versatility, but now that I have this Fenix I am impressed with everything it has, especially the battery life and other gadgets, the only thing Garmin needs is more integration with Apple's iOS. By the way, I have (I had it as a gift to my son) an Apple Watch Series 9, but it has nothing to do with the functionality of this Fenix 7 Pro. I am very happy with this new watch.

I have wanted a Garmin on my wrist for a while. I had purchased my wife one but I was still sporting an Apple Watch. Which, if you just want to receive calls and texts, that's fine. I felt the need for more. I had the desire to know more about where I stood with training, sleep, and more. This "watch" does not let down. From sleep quality to training readiness. I feel more aligned with my goals for training and life.
