The Fenix 7X is an excellent watch. In my opinion, the battery is slightly less powerful compared to the 6X, despite the addition of solar charging – which doesn't seem to significantly impact battery life. The watch is sturdy, stylish, and highly resistant to scratches, unlike the earlier models in the Fenix 7 series. It locks onto GPS very quickly, is extremely accurate, and consistently reliable.
Worthy upgrade

Upgraded from the 6x pro solar. Worth it...flash light! Love how easy it is to use and how handy it is to have a flashlight on you at all times. Touch screen is nice, still getting used to it. I've had the Fenix series since 2016 and I am used to the button system. Would recommend upgrade to anyone.
Great watch… more that I expected… Garmin is great

I bought this watch couple weeks ago upgrading from a Fenix 6X pro sapphire. I was a little bit concerned about it being too bright at night and the battery life due to The AMOLED screen, but after a few weeks of wearing it, all my concerns are gone. Though the battery life is Shorter, I still get about six days from a full charge. The screen is amazing and so much placing into the eye. My original thought was to get the 8 but for the price difference, I decided to go with this one. Honestly, I could not justify the price difference and this has all the features that I need as I am not a diver… I use it for tracking HRV, heart rate, VO2 Max, sleep and performance mainly in running, swimming and biking byt do other sports… Garmin always knocks it out of the park for me.

Upgraded from the Fenix 5 . Love everything about the new watch. Better maps, feature, health metrics, etc. It is large, but it fits my wrist well.

Has all the features except as previous reviews note; display is sub par for the price. Just a trade off for the exceptional battery life.
It is as good as they say.

This is my third Garmin watch and probably my eighth Garmin product, I purchased it to replace a fenix 5 that had finally died. Definitely an upgrade, tons of new features and apps in a familiar and user friendly design. There are a bunch of YouTube videos out there that give in depth overviews and compare the fenix 7X to other watches in Garmins lineup, I would encourage anyone interested to watch them. Even if the Fenix 7X pro isn't what you are looking for, Garmin probably makes a watch that is.

Been wearing everyday since I got it. No complaints, still learning functions. Appreciate the sleep/activity tracking and recovery suggestion/coaching. The data seems to be fairly accurate based on how I feel and what the data shows. Best part is not having to charge everyday like I was the Apple Watch.
More than a "Runner's Watch"

As a casual runner, I’ve been really impressed with how much value this watch brings to the table. It tracks my runs with ease, giving me just the right amount of data without being overwhelming. What really surprised me, though, is how well it performs in the gym. From tracking strength training to monitoring heart rate during cardio, it’s way more versatile than I expected. One of the best things about it is how simple it is to use. The learning curve is super manageable—even if you're not super tech-savvy, you'll pick it up quickly. And the battery life? Fantastic. I can go days without having to charge it, which makes a huge difference when I’m on the move. Overall, it’s been a great companion for my fitness routine—whether I’m out for a jog or hitting the gym. Definitely a solid pick for anyone who wants performance without the hassle.

After about 10 months of straight use I am still very happy with this purchase. The light feature (both white light and red) that may seem like a gimmick to some, has turned out to be a huge benefit of this watch. I have found myself using the light near daily for various things, it's just down right practical. "Comparison is the thief of joy", unless you're comparing this battery life to any of your friends smart watches. I throw it on the charger about twice a month for a few hours and it's good to go. I've dropped the watch and accidentally hit it on a ton of different surfaces and only have minor discoloration of the Carbon Gray on a few of the edges, no actual damage. About a week after I bought this Garmin released the next iteration but I have a feeling this one will last me for many many years to come. I have recommended it to many people. It's served as a great asset for hiking, camping, trail running/ultras, sleep tracking, and so much more. Love it! Side note, I have a tattoo on the wrist I use to wear watches on (you can see where this is going), upon wearing this watch for the first few days I noticed it wasn't registering my heart rate. After reaching out to DR. Google I found that tattoos can affect a lot of smart watches HR monitor. At any rate, it took some getting use to but it works perfect on the non tattooed wrist.

couldnt be more happy with my garmin but...........Garmin started big updates only on their newer watches and somehow ditched this nevertheless its not old at all. Some updates come now and then but they are nothing compared to the major updates for the new ones. That policy can make me go and look elsewhere for my next sportwatch.
Thank you, this is my favorite watch! I wear it ev

I recently transitioned from a Suunto Peak 9 Black to this Fenix 7x pro solar and it is definitely a huge upgrade. The battery life is amazing, the smart notifications are really nice compared my old Suunto watch. I like that you can see pictures in text messages and app notifications. The screen is easy to read and the flashlight is super handy. I used the sport mode snowboarding and the metrics were great and seemed very accurate. all-in-all, I would definitely recommend this watch if you're are looking for a high quality GPS smart watch.

I have had a Fenix on my wrist since the Fenix 3 years ago. All have been highly reliable and performed flawlessly. I mainly use it for mountain biking and some hikes. I am the weekend warrior who does not need to track a multi-day activity. My focus is battery life and metrics for cycling. Battery life is impressive! I charge my watch maybe once a week on average. When I am more active in good weather, I will top it off every 5 days or so. It is nice not to be concerned about battery while using this watch. I also use the watch for music, which downloads playlists automatically. I pair my Bluetooth headphones, which is easy to do. I am happy with how well it holds up. I have been with the Fenix 7s Pro Sapphire for two years and am extremely happy. Yes, it is expensive! But, the longevity of the device is well worth the initial investment. A relative of mine still uses a Fenix 3 HR with no complaints. A device that is worth the price.

I absolutely LOVE this watch. I am an outdoor enthusiast that participates in just about every outdoor you can think of, and this watch has features that make all activities more efficient and enjoyable. From biking to hiking, it tracks and records every metric that matters to performance. Not to mention the battery life is awesome! I'm using GPS on a daily basis and I still only need to charge up about 1x a month. 10/10 recommend.
