Works as expected

Got it a few weeks ago. Works but get an anomalous reading occasionally so rearrange and do it again. Kinda frustrating to put on one handed unless you hold it with your chin. Works seamless with one Garmin Connect account but a pain to switch it back and forth with my partner so we just keep it on one and note who's BP it was.

I bought this a few weeks ago but wish I had it years ago for the simple fact of how all the measurements automatically store in my connect app, can be downloaded and sent to doctors if needed. A valuable tool to help pool all of your health statistics together.
Easy to use very accurate readings

Three button operation are intuitive in design and functionality is easy. The cliff is small enough and large enough for this 5’10”, 245 lbs frame. I extremely easy to store and put on with minimal effort. One hand operation is simplistic, links up to my Garmin account for historical tracking.

Great integration with Connect and readings seem to be tracking accurately vs my not so smart old cuff. One quibble on the interpretation of the readings.... according to my doc, Connect is being too aggressive in flagging high BP. Perhaps they aren't age adjusted but things aren't as serious as Connect would have you believe.

I love the way this BPM integrates with Garmin Connect, storing my blood pressure readings with the rest of my exercise and health data. My previous BPM is very old; I have been using it for many years, and it employs terribly antiquated software for transferring data onto my laptop in Excel format. The Garmin BPM saves me so much time, as the recording is automatic. Also, the graphic displays are more helpful, and I can examine my BP with respect to other data. I think that I will soon be adding Garmin's scale to my Garmin hardware so that I can track my weight automatically, too. Definitely, if they reduce the price. I had been waiting for the price of the Garmin BPM to go down for some time, and it finally did, so I sprang for the monitor and I am not disappointed. The only reason I gave the Garmin BPM 4 instead of 5 stars is that, unlike my previous monitor (and most monitors, I believe), it does not detect HR irregularities. It seems to me that Garmin could add this feature easily with a software update, and I hope they do so soon. Also, I wish that there was not a 1-minute pause between readings for the 3-readings option, as I tend to get stressed waiting for a whole minute between readings, which probably raises my blood pressure, lol. My old monitor had a 10-second pause between readings for its 3-reading option, and I do think that taking three readings is more accurate than one. In terms of absolute accuracy, this is always difficult to judge without comparing to a perfect, infallible BPM (which does not exist, in my opinion). My blood pressure is always much higher at the doctor's office (white lab coat anxiety), but I have found that readings at the doctor's office can vary wildly within a 10-minute period, depending on who is taking my BP. My old monitor always gave me readings at home much lower than typically measured at the doctor's office (~120/75 compared to 145/90), although when I brought in my old monitor it gave me a higher reading that day than the doctor's. So much for measurement reliability. The Garmin has been giving me values intermediate to the doctor and my old monitor, around 128/84, and I am thinking that the Garmin might be the most accurate of all.

Unfortunately my arm size was right were there was a hard plastic piece so it was always a little loose (too tight otherwise) which led to pretty inaccurate readings. It was pretty good when done at the 3x mode, but when I did a single it would be off by around 20-40mmHg from one reading to the next. I read that some work great and some run high. I guess I got the batch that ran way too high compared to manual or my omron bpm. I might try again once this issue gets ironed out (i.e. version 2).
An integral part of the Garmin Health devices.

Since I am a user of the Fenix 7X, S2 Scale, Heart Rate Monitor, It was only a matter of time to purchase this BP Monitor. Simple to use and it is great since the readings are updated in the connect app. Only 4 stars since there are times with the device shows E3 errors (something went wrong with the readings) or one gets crazy high reading which shows as hypertensive crisis, and one is advised go to the hospital. At the hospital when they check the BP, it is Stage 2. Scared the heck out of me and the family. So expect everyonce in a while a crazy reading.
Good, not great

Excellent connectivity to my garmin app, easy to use and durable. Inconsistent in readings. Must take 3-5 readings to get an average. Needs more instruction on best use practices. Kind of pricey for what you get. Would not buy again or recommend. I only bought it to sync with my garmin app products. Worth about half of cost.

1) within 5 minutes of pulling the battery tab, I lost all power -- this needed to be remedied before the bluetooth connection could be established -- but the instructions that came in the box contained no instructions on changing the batteries. 2 ) Initially it would not connect to my WiFi. This held me up for 15 or 20 minutes -- got it on the 7th retry with the same data -- apparently it incorrectly sniffed out the initial WiFis incorrectly but got it right once I figured out how to make if resniff them using the PDF user manual that is offered on-line. 3) I find the downloaded app quite confusing as I believe it tries to serve too many devices. For example, the home tab kept telling me there were no recordings to display even after I had taken three readings ... then I went to the More tab, selected Health Stats, then chose Blood Pressure before I could then see the three readings. So, for the BP Index user, the relevant data is somewhat buried.
It's OK.

I bought this a month ago, it synced to my Garmin connect with no issues. I love that I can view my result instantly on the app and keep a record of it for my Dr. Also my wife uses it as well and we can enjoy the comfort of taking our BP's at home any time.

Bought this unit for traveling because of its compact nature. Compared it to my 2 home units which are spot on. This thing was all over the place. Absolutely no consistency even from one reading after another. Don’t know if mine faulty but I sent it back. I am a big Garmin fan, but not this?

I ordered this a few weeks ago to track my BP, as I've noticed it's been slowly creeping up over tge years. I also have a Garmin Venu 3s and also a Garmin Smart scale. So I wanted something that could integrate with the Garmin Connect App. The BP monitor was very easy to set up. I can slip it on and take a BP reading and it automatically records it in the Connect app. I really like the way it seamlessly saves the data and provides detailed charts to identify trends. If you need to monitor your blood pressure this is definitely the way to go.

I have now been using the Index for 2 years here are the pros and cons. Pros 1) Small and lightweight 2) 2-3 month battery life when used once a day. Cons 1) Accuracy very dependant on the advised body position. 2) Cuff design not as easy to use as leading competitor (Garmin will remove name if provided)
