Q: how long do you have to wait until rinsing it off
A: 45 mins and it’s a beautiful color no bad smells, color is VIBRANT just wash with shampoo and the conditioner that comes with the package until it doesn’t feel slimey

Q: My hair is naturally drk brown, and is dyed reddish-brown to cover gray will it lightnin and still cover the gray?

If you currently have color-treated hair, there are certain factors to consider that may affect color results. Therefore, we do not recommend LC2 for hair that has been colored light brown or darker. In addition, results may be too light on bleached or highlighted hair. LC2 is also not recommended for hair that is mostly gray.

Q: What is the difference between the two indigo hair dyes listed? I cannot figure that out. Can you explain that to me?
A: Hi Pixie! The Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color IN1 Dark Intense Indigo is darker than the IN2 Intense Pure Indigo and the IN1 is a more subtle Indigo color than the IN2. Thank you for your interest in Garnier hair color!

A: Hi Gigi! Generally it's best to wait 4-6 weeks before dying your hair again to avoid hair damage. Hope this helps!

Q: I have dark brown hair but was thinking of bleaching the ends and using the ultimate platinum from shaft to ends, not touching the roots to have a gradient affect. Could this color be used right after bleaching?

If you don’t have any gray to cover, you can use the Nutrisse Ultra Color LB1, "Ultra Light Cool Blonde,". Q: About how long does this dye last for?
A: Hi there Erica! All of our hair dyes are permanent. The hair dyed with this color will stay dyed until it grows out and is cut off. We grow about half an inch of new hair each month so in 4 to 8 weeks you’ll see a clear difference between the dyed hair and your natural hair color in the new growth. This is the time when most of us opt to touch up the roots with a new box of color to blend the new growth in with the previously dyed hair.

The Nutrisse Ultra Colors are specifically for use on natural dark hair and won’t cover gray. Select a color from the Nutrisse Crème Colors. Since dyed hair is much harder to lighten than natural hair. No hair dye is strong enough to lighten artificial pigment. To go lighter first you would have to have a salon professional strip out the dark dye first with a bleach lightener made for removing dark hair dye.
