Q: I see on google 16 gauge is called light duty, why does it say heavy duty. Can it power my 40v 10amp lawn mower.

A: Hello Manish, thank you for your question. A single 16 gauge is light duty but this is SJTW, 3-conductor 16AWG, which means there are 3 16 gauge wires inside the casing. The electrical rating for this cord is 125VAC, 13A, 1625W. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to move security camera in my back house so having the long extension cord came in handy it needed to be long and be safe for the area I had to move it we just updated are wifi so we moved cameras around and having cord that gave us length to help us move them and being outside camera we needed a weather safe cord this has been great. Holidays it may be just what I need for blow ups.

It’s the perfect length and feels high quality and durable. It has safety features such as being waterproof, which is why we chose to use it outside. I did not have any difficulty with voltage output and it powered all my items perfectly. My town recently had a pretty nasty storm with lots of large hail and rain, with no time to disconnect this cord lasted and did not burn out or cause electrical issues. I would recommend this product.

This one is rated for outdoors and is eighty feet long. I'll be using it for my weed eater and may use it over the winter for the tank defroster for the animals water trough.

I’ve used for my shop vac, blower, lights, etc. probably wouldn’t use it for anything heavy duty due to it only being a 16awg. But for what it is, it does the job! Light weight and easy to maneuver which is a place.

I have a rather large backyard and I need the length to reach some of the far areas. Because of the 80 feet, I can reach the areas I need. I haven't had any problems with it, shorting out or anything. And it rolls up rather easily, so it is flexible. I would probably get the same one but in a different color to conceal better. And I think I will in the future.

It’s held up against being pulled and drug around the barn floor and a hail storm! Will definitely be purchasing more of this product.
