A: Hello,nitelvr. Both Daylight and Energetic Daylight are 5000K. We use “energetic” to help better describe the light color in our HD family. In addition to providing cool, bluish white 5000K daylight, Refresh HD LED bulbs illuminate rooms with high definition light that delivers enhanced color contrast and boldness. I have purchased these bulbs twice and the bulbs are glass in the box and do not have the plastic bottom like the photo on the box. The cost is too high for glass bulbs. Can glass bulbs be LED?

We have purchased these same bulbs in the same packaging before. This time when we pulled them out they didn’t look like what’s on the package. The bulb is all one piece of glass. We’ll see how it lasts.

We like the brightness, they don’t last anywhere near the amount of time expected. We’ve replaced multiple bulbs with cracked bases, enough that I think we’re switching to generic- if they don’t last, why pay more.

I am a person who loves daylight like brightness from the lights and these bulbs serve me that purpose in my rental apartment where minimum lighting is given and that too only yellow lighting which I don’t like much for reading.

This is a great light bulb. LED light bulbs are much better than CFL light bulbs. I like them because they don't take time warming up to turn on. They turn on immediately. Ge Refresh Daylight HD bulbs are 800 lumens 10.5w but is equivalent to a 60w light bulb so it saves electricity and is a great asset to any room! It gives off a soft light without being harsh to the eyes and yet bright enough for all daily household activities.
