These are awful. I bought them because they were recommended for a bathroom, which is what I needed. They cast a pink glow that is horrible for a bathroom vanity. Terrible bulbs for a bathroom vanity.

These bulbs flicker and they are VERY purple when dimmed. Not terrible if you love purple. I unfortunately don't love either flickering or purple. I loved the color temperature of the halogen Reveal bulbs. These are not equivalent. If you're looking for a similar light to the halogen bulbs, look elsewhere.

It is very good light bulbs, however I didn’t see any difference in brightness from “soft white”. I thought “reveal” would be a little brighter. Then I realize, it is not just about 60W, it’s also about amount of lumens. My 60W “soft white” with 800 lumens eliminates my hallway better than 60W “reveal” which has only 650 lumens. But I did purchased this one for the hallway! Well, live and learn. Now I know. I left the “soft white” in the hallway and used both “reveal” ones as the bathroom vanity lights.
