This light bulb gave me extra brightness in a soft and warm light. I loved the way it looked. I will definitely buy more to put in the other fixtures to complete the look. They are low energy. I highly recommend to those who want that extra light to have a warm and candle light feel.

The warm candle light style of glow is wonderful in the evenings in our kitchen, it makes it feel very warm and inviting. I love that it is all of this in its' style, but also, because it is an LED, it is just 60 cents a year to use and will last about 13 years. That is incredible.

They give off enough light to see but not so much that I feel like I'm at the supermarket or work. They give off a nice Amber light but are also bright enough to light a living room or any room. I absolutely would recommend these to anyone who likes soft lighting.

When I got the opportunity to try this bulb I really hoped it would fit and was pleased that it did! It was just what was missing to give it that old fashioned feel. My antique lamp sits on a table between my Great Grandparent's rockers and offers that warm cozy ligting that feels like home!

This makes it easy on the eyes and adds just enough light I use this light in my breezeway and can just relax in this room with this amazing bulb. GE is a great company and makes very nice items. I plan on reading, writing and watching tv with this light on. I would recommend this to all my family, friends and coworkers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have used this bulb for lamps in our living room. it is much softer and warmer than some of the "white" bulbs. they look nice and vintage so finish off that "look" you are going for. but its additionally it leaves the room looking warm when turned on. fits a standard lamp - i have a wooden lamp with a linen shade making this complete that look. When i read in the evenings have no issues with this light provides a good light just not a bright white light.
