I love these light bulbs…they really create a nice atmosphere for overhead lighting.

Too bright! All the reviews said the light was dim, but I get afterimages burned on my eyes after looking at them. I bought these to replace a different Edison bulb which is just a little too bright, but these turned out to be much brighter than my original. They are warm, but in a non-dimmable lamp, just too bright for what I was looking for.

I bought these bulbs based on the reviews & I loved them! They have a nice warm glow and look great on my new bathroom fixture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got a couple of new lamps and placed these Vintage Aline ST19 40watt Filament Amber bulbs in them. I really love the vintage style and the warmness of the lights. When I look at my lamps in the evening i reminse on the old days at my grandmas house. Something about these bulbs remind me of the old days. These lights are energy efficient which is an added plus your able to use them and enjoy them with out having to worry about using alot of electricity. These bulbs make a great addition to some one who is remodeling, or going for a vintage look in their home thses bulbs are a great asset. When the time comes for the bulbs to be replaced, without hesitation I will be replacing with these exact bulbs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thought not bright, these VERY COOL lights give off a warm, cozy glow that sets a great mood. We use them in our living room and bedroom to give ambience to the room but like the fact that they are not overpowering. They give off just enough light to watch TV, relax and fall asleep to. I like the design because they're very retro and make our lamps look fancy, even though their not anything special. Really like the quality - GE makes good long lasting lights and we'll get them again in the future.

They are a very warm glow and not super bright but I love that you can see the details of the wires. I haven't had any problems with them running hot like some other bulbs which is nice and less worrisome. The glass is thick enough that I didnt feel like they would snap or break when twisting them in either. They look great in so many different fixtures and I can't wait to get more.

So many bulbs of this style are so different that it's tough to find a good match. These were just a tad smaller than what I have in the lamps now but they are the exact size and lighting level. I am extremely pleased with the way they work, the brightness and they dim very well also.

The bulbs themselves are very nice looking and add a nice touch to the light fixture. I like that the light they give off isn’t as bright and harsh as a lot of light bulbs. They work out great in my dining room. I haven’t had them installed for very long, but I’m sure they will last like all GE bulbs do. Great product.

We have pendant hanging lights in our kitchen that are transparent so its important to get a good looking light bulb, since it's not only the light that it gives off, but also the look of the filament. These bulbs fit the bill with their natural glow and vintage looking glowing filament. I'm really happy with them.

They go perfectly with the lamps!! They give just the right amount of warm, soothing light and look fantastic in the lamps! (This photo does not show the true color). They are dimmable but our switches are not. Great value too!!
