Q: how do you dim them

I was hoping for a middle ground between yellow and daylight bulb and was hoping this bulb was it but this is just horrible. Pic- this bulb vs 4x 40watt daylight bulbs in my light fixture.

Health hazard - intense “invisible” flicker

These bulbs have significant invisible 120 Hz flicker. The flicker is very obvious on a slow motion phone video - the “off” phase is quite dark. The bulb triggered the initial phase of a migraine for me within seconds of the bulb being on. Beware of any bulbs that have “invisible” flicker like this. The less severe flicker of fluorescent lights (which didn’t used to bother me at all until sensitized by LED flicker) has been linked to migraine, other headaches, and decreased ability of children to learn. LEDs do not have to flicker - it is a manufacturing choice that risks public health. GE and other respected lighting companies should eliminate invisible flicker from their LED lights for the sake of public health. The technology exists - several companies made flicker-free LED bulbs back in 2013.

These do exactly what they say, a light bulb that isn't bright gives you just the right amount of relaxing light. I ordered the ones that I thought would fit my chandeliers but unfortunately they didn't fit. I placed these in my bedroom table lights and they work perfectly for low light at bedtime.
