submitted byTricia - 3 years agoTarget staff supportA: Yes. They're actually safer than regular bulbs as they put out almost 2/3 less heat than old fashioned bulbs, but with the same or greater brightness. And use about 2/3 less power than traditional bulbs

These lightbulbs definitely haven’t lasted as long as they’re supposed to—most of mine have gone bad and just flicker or don’t work at all anymore.

I purchased these to use for a pendant light. The pendant kit is brand new and compatible with the wattage for these bulbs. I turned 1 bulb on for about 3 mins and it was burning hot on the white area towards the base. I tried a different bulb in a different lamp and after a couple minutes it was also burning hot. I don’t think LED is supposed to get hot like that- they were as hot or hotter than a regular bulb. I would not feel comfortable leaving these on for more than 5 minutes especially if you can’t be in the same room watching it the whole time. I also wanted a warm colored light and the scale on the back of the box showed these were the warmest available but they are pretty neutral.

These are the *perfect* table lamp light bulbs. They are bright, but not blinding. Warm, but not orange. In my most daily-use lamp, the bulb lasted a full year. I have chronic migraines and am very light sensitive - these don’t bother me at all, which is nearly impossible to find.

The light bulbs have a nice Warm White light which I enjoy. The only issue is one of them only lasted 5 months before it started flickering like crazy. They work great but not for very long.

Still use and like these lightbulbs and 60 watt works well for us. Tried this brand because the GE brand were sold out and reached outrageous prices elsewhere, so tried these. Good bulbs that do the same as the GE brand and priced much better, this was a good purchase.

These died right away. I put them on a vintage lamp and they would randomly turn off. I even completely rewired the lamp (I know I’m extra) thinking the wire was the problem and the bulb still kept blinking off and on. I changed it out with an old bulb from a different lamp and no more issues. I then put this new bulb in the other lamp and now that lamp doesn’t work. It has to be these bulbs.

I didn't expect it to be quite as yellow as it is. it's very yellow in my opinion. I wish it were called warm white instead. the blue coloring on the package made me think it was a cooler color, not yellow. bad packaging colors
