George Foreman Twist N Crisp Air Fryer with Backing Rack

I just bought this product on June 19,2020 and it makes a lot of noise and the following attachments are not included such as the kebab set, backing rack and Grilling cage.

I used my Flybuy points to purchase this. I was so excited to get to only find myself completely disappointed. Chips take much longer than the recipe books advises and they do not crisp. Removal of the basket is dangerous. I have tried a few times now to use and I have not been satisifed once. If I knew which store Fly Buys sent it from I would have taken it back. I used it again today and the wingnut fell of whilst airfrying inside the basket on the lid where the handles are. A total disappointment! I love all your products but not this one.

I bought mine at a department store..... was really eager to use it but as I emptied the contents there was no rack. I’ll be returning it to the store in hopes of a refund

I did not like this Air Fryer at all. Very difficult to clean and a part was missing from the box. Donated it and bought a different one that I'm very happy with. Waste of my money.

Used once - basket hooks/ lock fell off. Tried putting back on but where does the dang spring go? Very disappointed after one use!

I absolutely love my air fryer, everything I've cooked has turned out amazing, just disappointed that the rack and the sandwich basket which says are included were not in the box.

the only problem it did not come with more ACCESSORIES it only with is the basket and grill rack i would like see the skewers kebab holder and rotisserie forks?

I bought this tonight to make different style of chicken for Super Bowl Sunday. We are already in the second half and the first batch of wings are still not finished. People are hungry so we just cooked the other batches in the oven at the same 425 temp for about the same disappointing results. I so wanted this to work but going back to the store tomorrow. Can’t imagine what this will do to gator tots. Oh - and where are the attachments??

So I bought this because I use the ninja version at work and I was excited about the spinning basket. I was very disappointed the first time I used it the basket turned the tater tots I was making into mush. It did not come with the rack so I don't know how else to make them. I think I will return it and by a different one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to be able to try out the George Foreman® Twist 'N Crisp Air Fryer. Unpacking, cleaning and assembly for first use was very easy, as was actually using it. It's as easy to use as your oven and has all the benefits of frying, though it takes out the worst part of frying - which is the extra grease and fat! I think what was probably the most exciting feature of this air fryer for me was what most other air fryers are lacking, which is the rotating basket. With other air fryers, if you don't stick around and shake the basket ever so often, you're going to have unevenly cooked fries (or other foods). The George Foreman® Twist 'N Crisp Air Fryer rotating basket takes that chore out completely. Cooking time is obviously a little longer than normal frying but shorter than most oven cooking - it also takes up less space than an oven and doesn't heat the entire kitchen up when it's on like your oven does. Taking the parts out to clean is a breeze as well. As with other air fryers, there seems to be additional accessories that you can buy for your other baking/frying needs - but I think what comes with this product is more than enough for a majority of your cooking on its own. Overall, this seems like a great product to have on hand to help cook sides, or even to keep in a smaller living space that may not have an oven. I cannot say enough good things about the George Foreman® Twist 'N Crisp Air Fryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t too sure how this would work and my biggest fear was undercooked meat. Boy was I wrong!! We made chicken breast in less than 30 minutes and they were fully cooked, juicy, tender and so delicious...the best part no nasty fats, or grease on them. My whole family loved it and we’re currently looking into additional attachments to make the recipes that are included in the box. This is incredibly easy to use and clean and it’s perfect for a busy mom as most meats are ready in under an hour, but the best part everything you make will be healthy. Read through the instruction manual and recipe book and you’ll be set to go. You press a few buttons and start and you’re ready to start cooking. Use the exact time recommended for cooking if you want your meats juicy, unless you prefer them over cooking them. The airfryer settings are incredibly accurate and will not under or overcook unless you specifically want your food done differently. It definitely beats using the oven. We’re excited to make our Thanksgiving ham in it this year. Oh and you can also make air fried “hard” boiled eggs at 270 for 16 minutes...no water, no preheat at all and they come out perfect. We’re obsessed!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to test out the George Forman Twist N' Crisp Premium Air Fryer. I sat down and read the manual to make sure I didn't set my house on fire and so I knew exactly what to set up correctly. After unboxing, I cleaned the removable pieces and was ready to air fry away! Unfortunately you will need to buy additional pieces for a lot of the air frying, grilling and baking you intend to do unless you are solely going to use the baking rack, air frying drum or bowl by itself. That was disappointing because you will have to track all of the additional pieces down if you want to make rotisserie a chicken or kabobs! The air frying and set up was simple. I like that there are 2 latches on top of the drum to secure the food in place as the drum is rotating. There are small knobs that fit in place on both sides along with the larger driver shaft in the back. Changing the temperature and what feature you are going to use was simple with the icons that would illuminate. We decided to try out cheese curds first. We used a little less time than the fry setting and they came out great. I like the drum because it fried them evenly which was nice. I did have to stop the machine once to look at the food because it was hard to see inside from the side panels. The steam/air does come out of the back so you need to make sure you have enough clearance because it can get rather hot. I wouldn't recommend this on a small counter space. When opening the machine ,which is easy to do with a push of a button, make sure you also make space to take out the drum with pot holders. I would say that is another reason why I didn't give more stars. Unlike common other air fryers there is no handle to pull the food out right away. It makes sense because of the nice rotating factor but can be cumbersome depending on what you are making. Overall I liked it but didn't love it. I think if it came with more I would give it more stars. Cleaning was easy with a quick swipe of a damp dish cloth and dish soap. You can use a dishwasher on the removable parts but we prefer to do things by hand. I think if you want to still fry something or even bake or grill with less oil than this would be good for you. You would have to know though, that yes it is easy to use if you have the time, right accessories and patience. This isn't as quick as regular frying but you help your heart with less grease so it's a matter of what you see as a win-win.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually deep fry but that is not healthy at all. I have wanted an air fryer for a long time. This one did not disappoint! The basket rotates to cook food evenly. Keep in mind the times listed in the included recipe book, as well as the Cooking Guide in the instruction manual, are for the amounts listed. If you are making, for instance, half of the fries it says you do not cook it nearly as long. The first time I tried just a small amount of fries (maybe 1 cup) to test the machine out and they were very overcooked. Adjust the cooking time accordingly or check on the progress while it is cooking so you know when they are finished cooking. If you want to make anything that was freshly breaded you most likely do not want to use the basket and will need to purchase a rack. The rotating of the basket can cause the breading to fall off. I cooked a whole chicken using the rotisserie attachment and it came out amazing. It was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The Cooking Guide mentions using a chicken that is about 3.5-5 lbs, but I used one that was close to 6lbs. That is probably the largest chicken you can use to still allow it to rotate freely. It was just barely missing the sides when it rotated. It also took maybe 30 minutes or so longer to cook which I expected since it was larger. I love the fact that you can open the lid while anything is cooking and it automatically stops running so you can check the progress of the food. It then continues where it left off when you close the lid. Cleanup is pretty easy. There is a large, removable pan under the basket or rotisserie that just needs washed out after. Everything that fell or dripped down will be in that. The basket and rotisserie attachment can be washed easily as well. Overall, I am so pleased with this air fryer. Food comes out tasting amazing and it's so much healthier than using oil. It might take a lot longer to cook than using a deep fryer but it doesn't take any longer than cooking in an oven and the texture is actually better than oven baked food.

The first thing I cooked in this Twist N Crisp Air Fryer was a rotisserie chicken. I was beyond excited to be able to make my own rotisserie chicken at home with the included rotisserie attachment. I was a bit skeptical when the instructions said to cook for an hour for a 4.5 whole chicken but I tested it out as instructions stated. Be sure to tie legs securely together around the bar as this appliance is as space saving as possible while still having a larger capacity than most. When the hour finished I checked the temperature of the chicken and it was definitely ready and beautiful at that! The whole family loved it and it was tender and hot and fresh! We’ve made quite a bit of dinner sides in the rotating basket like roasted cauliflower, French fries, and chicken nuggets since then and it has been a wonderful appliance for us with all of it! I love the digital touch screen that provides more precision than knobs. It also has an auto shutoff timer. I highly recommend this air fryer with rotisserie attachment to anyone looking for a new favorite appliance!

I knew it could do a alot things but did not realize until I received and I seen the recipe booklet included. It has been fun to try new things in it and know that it is healthier for me and my family. It is easy to use and to clean. It does take up some space on my countertop but I would totally recommend!

Delicious food is made very quickly now and tastes better than I've ever made it. My kids have loved every single meal I have made so far and I have made many meals in it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never used an air fryer before and was slightly confused and intimidated before trying the George Foreman Twist 'N Crisp Air Fryer, but I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use! The controls are very simple and it's very much like using an oven, but you get results more like that of a deep fryer (without all the extra fat!) I like that the drum inside rotates, so you don't have to worry about flipping or turning your food during cooking. It really helps to ensure even crispness on all sides. There's also a tiny rack included as well for foods that cannot go in the drum. I'm a little sad that you cannot buy the rotisserie attachments for this model as well because it just won't attach to the inside, but you can still fit an entire chicken in this model too, it would just need to sit on the rack instead. I do love that this air fryer doesn't take up much space and can do many things that your oven can and doesn't add any extra heat to your home! Much like your oven though, some foods do take a while to cook. Overall, I like the idea of this machine. I think I would be good for snacks and side dishes perhaps, but I think the inside of the machine is a little on the small side for a family of 4.
