I really just wanted to take a little trip down memory lane with these banana gerber baby food. These are amazing I used to take care of my siblings when younger and remember feeding them one of these jars and taking one for my self too lol.

i guess to keep its color they add absorbic acid and that affects the flavor of the baby food

Now it usually is easy to chop some up and give her but in the car or while traveling I like the Gerber Natural for Baby - Banana option. You can pack it up and serve as much as she wants and then close the container again, without having to worry the bananas going all brown and mushy. So a great travel option. It tastes good and the texture is also nice. Well done Gerber.

I would still prefer a homemade purée but would be happy to know this would work if I was out of pocket and needed to grab something from the store.

The color is also nice, which is a weird thing to say but sometimes Banana is weird. The taste is great, my 8 month old had no problem swallowing it.

It's a great source of vitamin C and real fruit. I like that it is all natural. I try to stay away from all the added preservatives and sugars without taking away the taste of some of there favorite foods.

It's an amazing snack and she begins smiling when she sees us take it out. It has a great well-rounded banana flavor. You can tell all natural ingredients were considered and there are no short-cuts to the process. We'll only be ordering this for our baby's meals moving forward! We highly recommend it.

The banana baby food is his favorite (and mine) because it tastes just like banana's! The consistency is just right for him (not to watery and not to thick). As soon as my son sees me pulling one of these baby food jars out of our cabinet he instantly starts smiling and giggling! We highly recommend them!
