Q: does this item include the holder for the razors ?

A: This item is only the refill blades/cartridges. It does not come with a handle or the holder. The Fusion Proglide and Proshield handle packages do come with one or two cartridges. If you purchase a handle make sure to get the two cartridge package as that is the only package that comes with the holder.

I’ve tried many brands and Gillette razors are the best by far in every category! I have used the same blade at times for months and I still get a better, safer and smoother shave everywhere with that old blade than with a new blade from anyone else. I don’t get cut up either. If I go too fast sometimes I’ll cut my leg with the back blade.

Why did you change the microfin on the Gillette Fusion 5? These new ones are not good. I have been using your products for 20 years. I fell in love with the Gillette Fusion 5 as soon as it hit the market, and I have been extremely satisfied with it; it always delivered exactly what you advertised—a smooth shave. The new microfin that you replaced the original ones with are bad! My skin remains irritated, the shave is no longer as smooth as it used to be, and I can feel stubble on my face during the day, which I have never experienced before! Please, whose idea was it to change the microfin? Bring back the original product to the market. These new microfin are a huge disappointment!"

I am very happy with it, very confortable, fery fine, very advanced, modern. I used to have a Gillette Mach3 and the ProGlide that I have been using for more than 2-3 years is much better. Shaving is very fast and confortable and precise. The grip is great, is is a true instrument of precision. Sadly I only shave once per week or sometimes once every few months but when I do, I like my razor to be the best and I think this is the best in the world.

I have used Gillette products for a very long time, but the Proglide razors with the blue strip on bottom of the razor is horrible. Not sure of the design purpose, but now I can't get a close shave like previous razor blades and going to look for other options. For me personally I shave my face and head, but because of this design blue strip can't get a good close shave and my wife has to help me shave my backside of my head now. Please bring the old razor blades prior to this blade series. Signed longtime user....

Hands down the best, cleanest, shaver I have used. Shaving for 49 years this August. Started with the safety razor. Over the years I have strayed a couple of times and always threw the POSERS in the trash. I started shaving my head completely bald 2022, wife has stage 4 cancer and went thru radiation & chemo, shaved 1st time too support her, and we liked it. gillette rocks

I have used the sister razor, the ProGlide Shield, for years, but found the issue of too much lubrication. When I switched to ProGlide, I got back the controlled shave I'd been missing. I am happily enjoying closer shaves.

As you can imagine, we don't expect our ProGlide blades to last only about a week. On average, they should last around a month worth of shaves so long as you trim the hair down first and when using warm water and a shave prep. I rotate through 2 razors brands other than Gillette. I decided to try the Gillette Proglide, since I've been using the Proglide gel. I have no issue with the razor or blades. It's just when I started looking at buying more cartridges, I realized that they are relatively more expensive. I'm not really getting a better shave with the Proglide compared to my other brands. So, Proglide is not worth the extra $. I am enamored with the snazzy look and feel, but not enough to pay more money for the system.
