Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

    Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.

  • Waist

    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

Has some stretch and the xl size fits my 5'8" child with a 30" waist and 34" hips. Love that it has a gusset. Some fitness (sports shorts) don't have a gusset.

Great shorts for all kinds of sports, activity ties or casual wear. I ordered these in size XL and they fit my 15 y/o perfectly (for reference, she’s 5’4, 120). She likes wearing them to soccer practice, as they are fitted without being too tight, the wide waist band stays in place and they have good stretch, so they are easy to run in too. I’ve also seen her wearing these around the house to just lounge around in. The material is soft, just the right weight and the black color isn’t see through. Well made shorts that are versatile and comfortable.

Great stretch, with a comfortable amount of hold. Very opaque, not see through at all, which can be very hard to find. The length is good -- not too long or short. Comfortable waist band -- wide and snug but doesn't dig. Leg hems don't dig either!

I just love a the things from all in motion that I’ve ever bought. It’s a wonderful brand and is always great quality. The black is unfaded and solid. They have a great feel, really soft. It’s polyester and spandex. They run a little big but overall great quality!

The girls tumble shorts are very good quality and material. The waist is s but big and they fall off my daughter who usually wear this size. I would have to size down on these because of the waist size is huge.

These shorts are very soft and stretchy. They move with her and don’t prohibit her from moving. Good quality. And you can never go wrong with black because they match everything. I recommend these. They could also be great playground shorts for under a dress or skirt.

My daughter appreciates what she calls the “firmness” of the shorts while they are still stretchy and comfortable. I like that the waist band is thick and sturdy. Often times she wears this type of shorts under a skirt or dress for modesty, but these are robust enough to wear alone.

Buttery soft and comfortable shorts. My daughter plays volleyball and these are the perfect shorts. They are a great value and the sizing is very flexible. She’s grown quite a bit and they still fit her comfortably although she said the stitching around the leg opening is a little tight. She wears these under her dresses too for extra modesty.

These shorts hug hips and legs making you feel like you have a second skin and enabling you to practice moving your body in ways you may not otherwise be comfortable doing in baggy loose shorts. Baggy loose shorts dangerous to body movement. Nice fitting shorts like these help keep you safe.

These a great quality shorts and perfect for tumbling, dance, or just lounging around. My daughter wears them to dance class every week. They fit true to size with a high waist and tight around the thighs. She loves them and says they are very comfortable!
