Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

    Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.

  • Waist

    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

These are very cute and we love the color. They run on the smaller side, so if you buy a 10/12 hoping for it to fit size 12, definitely size up. The 10/12 is more like an 8/10, which is what I needed.

With an athletic vibe and feel to the fabric this little skirt with shorts underneath and attached is very fashionable and practical for our preteen girls. My daughter is almost 9 and extremely tall and thin she fits the small size 6/7 perfectly. She should be in a medium but it is way too big. So having said that it may run a bit big. However super cute I received an incentive to write this review.

The skirt has a good amount of length to it so it isn’t too short for a young girl. Additionally if comes at a great value! The built in shorts are great and the secret pockets inside are a nice touch. She likes having a place to stash smaller stuff. The material is soft and stretchy so it’s definitely comfortable for running around. The only issue for me would be that it’s a bit short, so keep that in mind when choosing a size. This is a super cute skort for the spring/ summer! It is made out of athletic material and the shorts under it have pockets! It's a pretty mix of purple, blue, and pink and it fits true to size. My daughter loves these skorts and I will be getting more!

Cute skirt! It is a very stretchy material for athletics, so it wears well and feels comfortable. My daughter says it feels very light when she has it on, and the material is silky. Her favorite part is that the shorts under the skirt have little pockets, so she can keep a chapstick or money in case she needs it for the vending machine at practice. Love this one- will need it in many colors for when cheer season starts back up!

My daughter was better excited when this arrived, she has started wearing skirts again and layering all the things she just wants to wear. With all the colors in this skirt it kind of works. I like that it has built in shorts, in part because it does look a bit short on her (she is average height in her 2nd grade class). Stitching looks good and fabric feels like it should last as long I would expect Target clothes to last.

This is a thicker skort. The built-in shorts have pockets on both sides. It has a flexible waist with a drawstring to make it tighter if desired the material is fast drying and very soft. The ruffle has material underneath it so it is not too short.

This is the softest, cutest skort I have ever gotten for my daughter! There are 2 layers of skirt which makes it look more high end. The shorts are the perfect length and don't ride up or squeeze her thighs. There are also real POCKETS on the shorts! They are deeper than most women's pockets.
