Q: Are these bags fragrance free or do they have odor shield? I want fragrance free trashbags. The label says fragrance free, but the description says odor shield.

A: Thanks for reaching out to us, and we'd like to provide some clarification. Our unscented Odor Shield products don't contain any specific fragrances meant to impart a scent to trash bags. Here, the name unscented means we don't add a scent. However, our Odor Shield technology contains certain ingredients that work to neutralize trash odors and, as a result, may impart a scent to the bags due to its odor-eliminating properties. We apologize for any misunderstanding and also wanted to take this opportunity to share how labeling guidelines work in the U.S. Any product labeled unscented means that the product may contain materials that neutralize or mask the odors of other ingredients, not that there is no scent or fragrance. Products labeled fragrance-free shouldn't have fragrance materials or masking scents used in them. We hope this clears things up for you. Q: What are the dimensions of these bags? "Tall" does not tell me whether it will fit the 49 inch perimeter of my trash can. 13 gallons doesn't help either.

Strings are now unaligned

This is the second large box we purchased in two different scents where the strings are not aligned. They’re not across from one another any longer which makes its difficult to close the bag tight. This “new” design needs to go. Please bring back the aligned strings.

If I could give these bags a negative star I would. These are the worst bags ever. You have to double them up in order to use. I will never purchase Glad again. The only positive thing is they were on discount with a promotion. But they are still not worth the money.

Glad is making these fully 3 inches shorter than they used to, so when they get full they sink into my garbage can and I get to go digging for the edges of the bags. Inconvenient and gross. Will not buy again.

Rip really easily when trying to pull out of the trash can or when trying to use the drawstrings. These bags used to be great. Awful waste of money now. :( Everything is so poorly made since COVID. All my lifelong favorites have gone downhill…grr.

These trash bags are absolutely terrible. The picture on the box is extremely misleading — It doesn't look like that at all. The bags are SO thin and literally translucent once you open it. It honestly feels like a plastic grocery bag. It's so thin that it tears very easily. I literally have to double bag every single one of them because of that, so you end up not even saving money. The bag feels like it's going to break every time I lift it out of the can.
