Q: would this cabinet be able to fit vinyls on the top and bottom of this cabinet? if not, is there a target cabinet you can recommend that will fit the dimensions for vinyl storage.

I've purchased and loved several items from the Glasgow line, but these cabinets were disappointing. I bought two to serve as a console type table. Both had very noticible raised dimple marks on the top panels. I am strategically placing items over them to disguise the issues. The bigger problem is that the doors on both cabinets do not line up. The right panel sits higher on each. We've tried loosening screws on the cabinets to ease the alignment, but nothing has worked. The doors themselves are riveted to the panel and cannot be easily adjusted at the frame itself. Flaws aside, the cabinets are sturdy and look nice - but all I can see are the imperfections.

Impossible to put together. Almost none of the pre drilled holes match up to the holes in the pieces to put together. After trying for a few hours to put this together I gave up and took it back to Target. If it shipped already put together I'd consider getting it.

I expected higher quality from the console. One of the doors doesn’t connect to the magnet to stay closed. Multiple holes for the bolts do not line up and I either had to brute force it to work or I gave up and am stuck with a piece not fully bolted in. It was quite difficult to put together myself even without those issues. The box I received was also open and pieces of the metal were sticking out. Made me think I was sent a previously returned item. I’ll keep it just cause I don’t want to deal with taking it apart and shipping it back.

It is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for, but the machine that drills the holes is off. I purchased two and can't even finish building the first one because at least 6 holes are off so I am unable to put the bolts in place. I'll have to head to the store to buy a bit so I can drive them out (and wider washers to cover the holes). Also, one of the hinges on a door is a bit loose (unable to tighten) so the door droops a bit. So if you are a comfortable with some DIY, they are great. I'll see how the second one compares...

Overall, if you are handy or approach this piece knowing you may need to get creative, it’s worth it for the price. There were small imperfections but again for the price it felt overall reasonable. The biggest recommendation I have is be prepared for some sort of challenge. We had hardware issues with each cabinet (I ordered 3). They only send the exact amount of hardware you need so there is no room for error or losing a piece. The hardware challenges we experienced were: one warped washer which could not be used, one bolt that did not go with this assembly at all (must have been accidental, but again with no extra pieces we were down one necessary bolt) and one cabinet handle not aligning with a door. Each issue happened with a different cabinet oddly enough, so one issue per cabinet. My husband is handy and we had extra hardware so it was less of an inconvenience for us than it could potentially be for someone else. I still love the look of them and saved money for how much storage I got out of it!

We had a few hiccups along the way putting this together. But ended up all working out. BUT unfortunately I received one of the handles with some manufacture flaw. One is super smooth how it should be and the other is so bumpy and rough. The cabinet is sold out so can’t even ask for a replacement

I have the short sideboard from this collection and I loved it so much I decided to buy these. The material is great and super sturdy!!! I originally wanted to buy the large crate and barrel casement sideboard but these are way better quality and less expensive. My only problem that has been a HUGE headache is that I've had to order these 3 times now! I ordered two the first time, one was perfect and the other way damaged and without hardware. I ordered another one and the door was so warped it didn't close properly. I just ordered two more and hopefully one of these isn't defective.

I absolutely love the idea of this piece of furniture. Unfortunately, I thought I was going to beat the negative reviews by being able to put it together and have everything align. I was wrong. Secondly, and the description on the website, it says that the front is made of “mesh” that is not true. The front panels are clear glass. I do have the square end table version. I use as a printer table and love it. I look forward to purchasing another one of those as well as the smaller round table.

Love the look of this unit. I found it very difficult to build. Found holes not aligned. I think the secret to making it easier to put together is not to tighten them completely until all holes are aligned. Other than the alignment issue, I think for the price it makes quite a statement .

Really well made cabinet… especially for the price! It came packaged extremely well. It was pretty easy to put together. Directions were clear. Dont over tighten the screws cause it can be hard to match up the holes if you do. Very happy with it!

I love the elegance that these cabinets bring to my living room; they are no practical and look great as well. I changed up the handles to a brushed brass to make it shine a little more, and I think that added a nice touch. This is priced at a great amount and now I can store my things in the cabinet without worrying about the baby getting into things. :)

This was probably the toughest thing I’ve put together & I’ve assembled a bunk bed and basketball hoop by myself. You cannot screw anything in completely because the pieces do not align the way that they should. You have to leave slack & hold things in place as you tighten. Even the shelf brackets had to be bent back into place because they were slipping out of the slots. There’s an entire step missing from the instructions. I knew when I saw the hardware in stapled in ziploc bags that I was in for a treat. The end result is beautiful but I would never purchase another one.
