A: You can use this as a dry measuring cup. Technically speaking, it will not be as accurate as using a dry measure where you sift, dip then sweep with a straight edge. Sifting first not always necessary

I enjoy the styling of this measuring cup (16oz) but I found that the measurements are nore accurate compared to my Anchor measuring cup; I measured out 2 cups of water in the Anchor measuring cup and it filled this measuring cup a food 2-3cm past the 2 cup line. The pour spout is small and it's nearly impossible to pour liquid from this vessel without spilling some down the side.

Love this! It washes beautifully and has no painted markings which eventually fade and rub off. Best of all, it is not cluttered up with metric measurements that no one in the USA uses to begin with.

I used this to bloom gelatin in hot water several times. By the 4th time, it shattered when I picked it up to wash it. Very scary. Very dangerous. Thankfully there wasn’t any liquid in it and it happened over the sink, away from pets and kids. Looks aren’t everything, I’m going to stick with Pyrex and Anchor, tried and true and real kitchen tools.
10/10 a must!

So simple yet beautiful! My old measuring cup, the paint is faiding. This is etched and will not have that problem! Don't live near Target so had been watching online for a long time, constantly out of stock! Glad I was able to get one, just waiting for the other size to come back in stock!

Love everything with the exception of one of the main functions! Pouring! The pour spout is not defined enough to allow you to pour out liquids without the liquid running back under the pour spout and run down the outside of the cup and spill onto your surface area. You should be able to SLOWLY pour a liquid from a measuring cup without this happening.

We love the etched glass, our old measuring cups had the lines on it and eventually came off in the dishwasher despite them being dishwasher safe. These will last because they are part of the glass mold. I also love the handles.
