After using this lotion for a few weeks, I developed itchy and inflamed rashes in both elbow creases. I thought I randomly developed eczema or psoriasis, so I stopped using anything with fragrance altogether. Once the rash started clearing, I used this lotion again and my elbow creases flared up again. I know for a fact now that it's the lotion causing some sort of atopic dermatitis. The scary part is that it won't clear! I have to schedule an appointment for the dermatologist. I literally thought I had an autoimmune disease or fungus until I came across all of these reviews of people experiencing the same issues. I really hope Gold Bond recalls this product and that it hasn't caused permanent damage to my skin.

I’ve used this for months with no issues but recently this lotion has been breaking me out in rashes and hives. It seems like many others have been having this issue. I’m wondering if there has been a formula change, or have I developed an allergy to one of its ingredients?

Back of my hands and between knuckles broke out in a red, itchy rash! I don't even have sensitive skin! I wanted to love this product but it seems everyone is right saying the formula changed. Such a shame!

This lotion gave me a very itchy rash all over. I’m not sure what I’m allergic to but according to these reviews others have had same reaction. Try it on a small area first and wait 24 hours to see if you have a reaction.

I have given this product so many attempts over the last two years. I used it again this week and got the same result- itchy rash! I can only resolve this with cortisone cream. I do not know which ingredient causes this response, but unfortunately the product is not for me.

I was using this for months and loved it. But the new bottle I bought last month caused red itchy rash that required hydrocortisone cream to resolve. Did you change the formula? I wish you could go back to original formula.

I have been using this product for quite some time with great results primarily on my upper arms and elbows. When I recently bought two new bottles, I noticed that it now said for use on face too. I used it on my face just once and the skin around my eyes starting burning and by the following day I had my wife and adult daughter asking what happened to my eyes which were red, irritated and very sore. I’ve never had this happen before with any other product and I would warn any other consumers to avoid the face with this product!

I started using this lotion and saw immediate results! It helped with my crepe skin so quickly! But then came the rash on my legs and my inner arms. I was so disappointed! It's made my skin worse than it was before. :( I'm going to my dermatologist to get some help.

Hey Gold Bond you have a ton of reviews over the last 8 months letting you know that this product is causing severe rashes. That’s what brought me here too. Horrible rash all over my body all due to your change in formula. I will absolutely never recommend this or purchase again. Hope you are doing more than just replying with a canned response and this is actually being taken seriously.

Had been LOVING this product but I just purchased my 2nd or 3rd bottle a month ago- severe rash! Not sure if the formula changed because this bottle says “now for face” but it’s been a nightmare! And I do not have sensitive skin.

When I First used this product I was amazed. But the new formula has given me a rash on my arms, chest and eyes. The first time I used it I thought it was something else, and it could not be the new formula. So I stopped using it and within four weeks it went away. But it literally ate my skin, removing freckles even when the skin finally healed. I assumed it could not be the lotion due to the fact I have used before. But I just started using it three days ago and all the same exact rashes have come back. The new formula is definitely not as, gentle on the skin. I would never recommend again with the new formula. And I had recommended to soo many people who sat in my salon chair. Pictures below are super mild compared to the last time when I continued to use it longer the this last three days. (Wouldn’t let me add photos.

I have used this retinol cream before, and was very happy with the results. I just bought some and have had a red inflamed rash on my inner arms and thighs. I will not be able to use this any longer.

Last night I applied the cream to arms and legs. After rubbing in the cream, I ran my hands across my face (but did not apply lotion directly to my face). This morning I was taken to hospital and placed on IV steroids and Benadryl because my eyes were swollen almost completely shut. Now I’m on multiple medications for at least the next week for this horrible reaction. Given all the reviews confirming allergic reactions, this formulation should be pulled from sales.

I suffered for weeks from hives and severe itching everywhere I used this product until I realized what was causing it. I also went to three different doctors, took a variety of medications, and incurred a lot of expense with no change to the symptoms until after I stopped using it. This lotion should not be called hypoallergenic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked how the Gold Bind lotion felt on my skin. I primarly used it on my hands and my neck/ chest area. While I felt that it was a nourishing and hydrating g lotion I don’t think it did anything special for the “crepe” feeling your hands get at a certain age. The scent was pleasant and not overwhelming. While I can recommend it as a good lotion, don’t expect any miracles.
