I have fine natural hair with very oily roots, so I wash my hair daily. I loved this scrub! After it my hair has volume and bounce to it, though generally it doesn’t hold any styling. I could see how it could be drying for some people, or it’s not worth it for a long hair. I have shoulder length. But it is perfect for mine!!! I hope it will stay at Target for sometime.

I have longer hair, and this is impossible to not get all over your hair. It completely dried my hair out; feels like straw. I also color / lighten my hair, which I’m sure is not a winning combination. Do not recommend.

Thought this would be a good, weekly cleanse...it made my fine, straight, unprocessed hair feel like straw! I used it for the first time this AM and have not been able to get my fingers thru it since. I could barely get a comb thru it after the wash...my hair is generally knot-free and this "scrub" has made it feel gritty, dry and filthy! I would not ever use this again...definately a miss!

I was really excited to use this but unfortunately it just made my hair greasier and left a film on it. I didn’t use any other product so idk why it stayed in my hair after it dried.

It smells amazing and the squeeze bottle was very ergonomic for use in the shower. I just wish I got more than one use out of it.

It's gritty texture makes it difficult for me to remove everything due the length and thickness of my hair. The packaging is fantastic because the jarred products are the worst and a tube is far more convenient. Can't say I love or hate the scent.

Deep cleans the scalp! It is a bit drying on the hair strands themselves but nothing a deep conditioner can't solve after use. Only meant to be used once a week. No need for a dry shampoo during the week with this shampoo!

However, I did feel like this made my hair while in the shower/wet feel a little dry so I washed again with my regular shampoo even though the directions state to go straight to conditioner. That helped my hair feel more like its normal self but still a tad dry. My scalp feels clean though and not like there's any product residue and I don't notice a strong overpowering scent. I will continue to use this until it runs out however I am not sure if I will be repurchasing at this moment. I have long, thick hair that has never been colored and I rarely apply heat to my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Powerscrub Scalp Detox is absolutely fantastic. This "Goop" has a very subtle scent and packs a good punch when it comes to clean. I use this on both my scalp and my body, which leaves me feeling fresh, clean and exfoliated. There is a very soft afterfee to this formula that is not greasy or sticky. I have used other scalp scrubs in the past yet. None of them compare to this one. I was honestly expecting to have gritty or sand like feeling still left in my hair after I rinsed, but it was not the case with this product. I am impressed and will definitely buy this again.
