I've never owned a garlic press, but I know it can't get much worse than this. Look at all the other reviews from 2-5 stars. They are all only from a promotion! Even some of the promoters couldn't lie for this product. I guess the name of the tool isn't false advertising because it does "press" the garlic. But that's it. If you want garlic in your food, buy a different tool because this one can only smush the garlic into a thin stick. Then you have to peel the stick out of the tool and then you still have to chop it up yourself if you want it on your food.

I should have heeded the reviews, but I thought they were just being a touch dramatic. Unfortunately for me, it turns out that they were 100% accurate. I pressed some garlic to try it out and, out of an average-sized clove, I didn’t even get enough to cover my pinky nail. I’d say that even 1/8 of a teaspoon would be an overestimate. Heed this warning: do NOT buy this garlic press unless you prefer your food to taste like disappointment instead of garlic!

This is horrible at it’s only job. Wastes half the garlic clove so you are better off just chopping it up yourself. Would not recommend.

Do not buy! It is not worth it. I rarely use a garlic press but I needed it for a specific recipe and it just all leaks out the side.

Absolutely horrendous! I’ve used garlic presses for years, and saw this one and decided to give it a try. Absolute trash. If you own it, throw it away. If you’re looking into buying it, don’t bother.

I thought maybe I was using it wrong but after reading other reviews, this press is just trash. It just smashes the clove and you only get a tiny bit of minced garlic. Don’t waste your money..

Bought it but wife threw away the tags so now we cant return it. She used it and complained the garlic got stuck in places. Follow the reviews!!! And also save the tags so you can return it if you do buy it.

This garlic press doesn't work at all. It isn't sharp enough to mince the garlic (not even one clove). The plastic body feels pretty cheaply made, so you don't have enough leverage to push the cloves against the grate. Definitely a waste of money.
