Purchased the Pixel 9 on sale. Upon setting it up, input the IMEI into Google's database to make sure I had a 1-yr Google manufacturer's warranty. It showed I had only seven months remaining. When asked why, Google told me to speak to Target about it, since they sold the phone. Not really sure who dropped the ball here, but I'm not interested either. I should have 1-yr warranty from the date of purchase. For this reason, I reteurned it. I suppose the warranty starts when Google sells the phone to Target, which obviously hurts the customer. Google should look at how Apple makes warranties so simple. I suspect this is one of many reasons Google doesn't sell many phones. In the end, I purchased a Nothing Phone 3A. Worked out for me ... No Google products ever again. Easy.

Speakers are good for media playback but low for phone calls. The screen is fast and good picture quality but has sensitivity issues compared to other phones. The Ai is still limited and it will only appeal to certain people.

I am a long-time Pixel user and am very pleased with the upgrade to the 9, especially regarding the battery life. I use my phone all day and it lasts until night. I previously have had the Pixel 2, Pixel 4, and most recently the Pixel 7. My husband has had the Pixel 3, 5, 7 Pro, and currently has the Pixel 8. My children have iPhones for comparison. I do prefer the camera on the Pro versions versus the standard pixels, but given that I only use it for social life, I really don't need an upgrade to a more expensive phone that can zoom in or with super clarity that the pro has. The Pro version of Pixel cameras to me is on par with an iPhone for regular shots. The 9 is slightly less on clarity/crispness, but has really good editing options vs iPhone. The 9 is slightly smaller than my 7 was, but is fairly negligible, and closer to what the 5 is. The corners are more rounded which was a nice design versus the squared off style of the 7 as I think it makes it more durable when dropped. I really enjoy this brand of phone, the newest editing feature for pictures includes an option where you can edit yourself into a group shot, which is always the hardest part about being a mom taking photos and never being in the picture yourself. Setup of the phone was extremely easy coming from another Google Pixel. It let me choose if I wanted to use a physical SIM card or convert my SIM to a digital version. It comes with the charging cord but not the charging block, so one thing to be aware of is the need for a C compatible charging block. One thing that really sets apart the Google phone from some other options on the market is the ability to completely split your personal versus work profiles. That is one reason my husband sticks with the Pixel because it keeps everything completely separate for IT management permissions.

Has good AI features but if you want to use the Gemini feature then you have to pay for it separately. Battery life is good. But the biggest negative point seemed to me is the over heating part. The phone gets heated up easily after 10-15 minutes of use. And it doesn't have a back button. You have to swipe in a strange way to go back to a page. Besides these the camera is pretty decent.

I've owned phones that were too big for my pocket and too small for my fingers to type. This reminds me of the old iPhones that I also owned and like. The build quality is also reminiscent of the iPhone, simple and very easy to use. The pixel 9 is perfect for everyday use, fits in my pocket, easy and light during gym sessions and great for watching videos during my break at work. As far as the specs, I am very surprised and impress at how nice my videos and photos look! The volume and speaker is enough for my co workers at work to enjoy music playing. The storage space is very good, display is clear and crisp, and apps are simple to navigate. I do notice that battery can drain quickly if setting are at the maximum and if you are watching videos on YouTube or movie. I also noticed that it does get warm sometimes. But either than that, this phone has gotten plenty of praise at work and my wife uses my phone more than her iPhone. Overall I must say that I am loving everything that this phone has to offer. Perfect for me and for my everyday use.

The back is made of glass and side is metal (dont know what metal it is) but it does feel the same with my other phones. The phone is durable with a good battery life.

It didn’t take long to charge though. It was very quick. The camera takes stunning pictures. Talk about high quality. Even the wallpaper looks alive. This phone is 5G with 128 GB also the Obsidian version unlocked. The color is this gorgeous dark grey almost black with a very sleek thin shape. I’ll have to get a case and screen protector for it. I’m highly impressed with how quick the phone operates. I’m still learning about the AI and features.

It's much smaller but it fits so much better in my hand. The camera is absolutely amazing. So crisp. The phone is easy to navigate through and the storage size is quite big. Battery life is great. I'm still learning how to use all the fun features but Gemini has already helped me text friends and ask questions.

This phone came practically fully charged and started up super fast! I thought it was going to be frustrating transferring all my apps, info and storage over but Google made it EXTREMELY easy and pain-free. Navigating was fairly simple and it's been fun learning all the new features. I figured out how to record while on an app and that's something I never was able to find out how to do on my iPhone. Haha. The camera, even though this is just the 9 model was a serious game changer. All of my photos look so crisp. I've also enjoyed playing with the Re Imagine feature. I've created quite a few images for my upcoming new business adventure. I'll really be able to make the business cards of my dreams with this feature. I attached a demo pic to show how well it looks. I haven't had any issues so far with storage but I did have to delete a ton of emails which I needed to do anyway to clear up more space. Not a big deal. I do think I will be upgrading the memory for space. It's still new to me so once I've had this phone for a couple months I'll update this review. The calls have been crystal clear, all of the pre loaded settings and apps have had zero issues. I love the keyboard and ringtones as well as the screen saver. I was able to group all my apps in one place to make things easier for me, I'm sure I'll discover so many more exciting features as I continue to play around. This phone durability seems to be on par with what I'm looking for yet the sleek design is eye catching. The size of this phone is perfect for me and my lifestyle and have already found cute cases for this phone. I think the battery life is what I'm most obsessed with as I'm on my phone all the time hahaha! Google all the way!!!
