Description
The AFFIX™ Highback Booster Car Seat with LATCH System helps safely transport your "big kid" from 40 to 100 lb and up to 57" tall. It provides a secure connection to your vehicle seat with its one-hand front-adjust LATCH system, making self-buckling easier for your independent child. While the purpose of the LATCH* in the AFFIX Youth Booster is to secure the booster to the vehicle seat while the booster is unoccupied and help facilitate independent buckling, you will secure your child in the booster seat with the vehicle lap/shoulder belt. The seat has an integrated cup holder and hide-away storage compartment to keep child's drinks and favorite things within arm's reach. *Since the Latch system only secures the booster seat to the vehicle in this application and is not used for installation, it may be used regardless of the weight of the child (up to the maximum weight recommendation of the seat).

My 5 yr. old grandson was so excited to be in this seat. He asked to go for a ride when I put it in, to sort of, test it out. He felt so big looking out the window. He loves it. It's nice that the back base seat hooks to the main seat for added security.

Easy installation love the latch addition. My daughter use to get so frustrated with her booster sliding around when she would get in and buckle so I knew I wanted to avoid that this time around and problem solved! Son loves the black and red says it's comfortable. We had a applesauce spill and it wiped clean nicely.

Seems like a great product, but when I purchased on 5/2024 and then see the product was manufactured in 11/2021. It is already 2-1/2 years old so I am not sure what that means for car seats but I thought the shelf life was 5 to 10 years. So I'm losing out.

Thank you for your interest in our products! The Affix Highback Booster has a 10 year useful life from the date of manufacture. You can see the date of manufacture when you make a purchase at a local retailer, we put a sticker on the outside of the box that will give you this information. Unfortunately, there's no way of checking it when you order online. When ordering online, we cannot guarantee what date of manufacture that you would receive. I hope this helps!

Great light weight seat that my toddler loves. He sleeps comfortably in it as I posted. It comes in and out of the car with ease. We like it because it isn’t as bulky as some other car seats. This one seems to leave the most room for people next to it.

I bought 2 of those car seats on December, one for my car and the other one for my husband's. I have to say yesterday was the worts day ever. I had a pretty bad accident with my daughter, the car complete roll over and at the end we stayed completed upside down. I can say my daughter only have a scratch. My 5 year old enjoys the new seat. It affords him more leg room, less seat bulk, and easier entry/exit that the Graco 3-in-1 he was in for the past three years. Only downside is where the plastic guide is for the seatbelt it tends to have a challenging time with our Yukon XL belts.
