Graco Dream More Deluxe Bedside Bassinet with Calming Motion

I love the size of this bassinet but I have two issues. The mechanism to lock it so that it’s not in “/swinging mode” jams so I am unable to keep it still. Anytime baby moves or rolls the whole bassinet starts to swing since it can’t be locked. The movement wakes my baby and makes the product unusable. Additionally, the replacement mattress pads have been sold out of ages and you aren’t allowed to put a sheet on it so it’s extremely inconvenient to wash and dry and reuse

6 weeks in and overall it’s a decent bassinet! It can move over the bed if needed for co-sleeping and I like that it’s mesh all around. The rocking feature is nice but our baby just doesn’t use it! I’m rating it 3 stars because I just don’t know that it’s worth the price compared to more simple bassinets. The sway feature is manual but it keeps swaying for a bit on its own. Also, it took a long time to find a sheet that works. Technically, you are supposed to just use the mattress but that would be extremely frustrating because we’d have to wash it a lot and wait for it to dry! What about nighttime blow outs?? If I hadn’t found a sheet that worked, we would have returned it.

We’ve had this for 2 months and it makes a lot of creaking sounds whenever I place my baby in the bassinet which wakes her up every time. It has a variety of levels which is nice but since I have it at bedside it’s always on the lowest. It has a swinging feature which we never used, but if you do use it and decide to lock it once baby sleeps, it makes the loudest clicking sound. The bassinet is not very stable and will move anyway even when locked. I like that it’s mesh all around so I can see the baby and it’s spacious even for our 2 month old. The mattress can be washed and I’ve been able to use fitted sheets on it. But I truly wish I chose another bassinet due to all the creaking whenever touched.

Sturdy structure and easy to assemble. Glad it's not a battery or powered, the rocking motion lasts long enough to soothe then stops when baby falls asleep. Height adjustment is nice for more than just bedroom.

No replacement mattress pads? Absolutely useless for a newborn.

Hard to understand the as why Graco is not providing replacement mattress. Pretty useless without this for a newborn. Do better !!!

Disappointed because this was the only bassinet we could find tall enough for our bed and it looks so nice and well constructed .This has great features that just aren't executed well. First, I understand that virtually all bassinets have thin mattresses for safety purposes, but this mattress has gone completely flat in the center after just a few short weeks, my baby is not even 2 months old. The locking mechanism for the sway motion is very loud and wakes the baby from sleep essentially undoing all the effort from swaying. It also creaks a lot when baby is in active sleep.

Its a good bassinet if you want it place you child above bed and close to you. But it badly needs a replacement mattress !!!! Not sure why Graco doesn't sell it !

My baby hated this bassinet compared to her crib I think it’s too hard. The mattress might need more cushioning. It also need to be able to fold the sides down I found it difficult trying to lift her out of it from the bed

I love the bassinet and the fact that it can be removed so you can easily move baby's sleeping space with you. I wish Graco would offer replacement mattresses or sell sheets that would work with this bassinet because it's not feasible to use without a replacement when we need to wash constantly because of spit up.

Ofcourse having a newborn sleep in bed with you isn’t a good idea, and having them in a crib a few feet away has you nervous also. So a bassinet right next to your bedside is great. This one you can see your baby as you lay next to them. And isn’t so bulky. It’s a great purchase for peace of mind for your newborns to sleep near you. Great quality and light weight can be easily moved around. Easy to clean.
