Description
Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear-facing as long as possible, until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their car seat. Extend2Fit features a 4-position extension panel that provides 5" of extra legroom allowing your child to safely ride rear-facing longer. The seat can be used rear-facing from 4-50lb and forward-facing from 22-65lb. The seat features Simply Safe Adjust which allows you to adjust the height of the harness and headrest as your child grows. InRight LATCH for a one-second LATCH attachment and Fuss Free harness storage which holds the buckle out of the way, so it's easy to get baby in and out.

Q: Can this car seat be used without a base, so that it can be used in taxi cabs or ubers?

A: Thank you for your interest in our products! The Extend2Fit® Convertible Car Seat does not offer a removable base as the base is a part of the car seat. The only seats with the option to be used seperately from a base is our Infant car seats. We hope this helps!

The body support pad should only be used in rear-facing mode and must be used if little ones shoulders are below the lowest harness setting. Q: If the straps are too tight is the only way to adjust to move the headrest up? It looks too high if I do that (babies head is not centered in the headrest area)

A: Thanks for reaching out! The splitter plate is likely lodged between the base and the seat. If the adjuster strap is still on the front of the seat, the splitter plate is lodge between the seat and base. You can shake the seat until the the splitter place is dislodged, or you can recline the seat fully to locate the splitter plate. We hope this helps! Graco Team

Q: How does the extend feature give extra leg room in rear facing mode? Wont the foot of the car seat be against the back of the seat? Does the extend feature work in all cars? I’ve seen reviews about not being able to use it in some cars.

A: Thanks for your interest in our products! The Graco Extend2Fit t is certified for use in aircraft. Use only on forwardfacing aircraft seats. Follow the instructions for vehicle installation. For rear-facing installation, see section 3-C and 8-D Lap Belt Installation. For forward-facing installation, see section 4-C and 8-D Lap Belt Installation, but do not use tether. Contact the airline for their specific policies.

I absolutely hated this car seat. I purchased two of them, one for my car one for my husbands. We had issues from the start, we could not get the harness to release correctly, and it wouldn’t pull tight enough on the baby for the pinch test, I could still get my arm inbetween the baby and the harness. This also happened to one we purchased for our first baby about 3 years ago. I really wanted to like it but it was the worst car seat I’ve ever used

The car seat was just ok. The seat felt extremely deep so my toddler never felt quite secure in it. The seatbelt also would loosen during the rides, it would be tight when we left and then slightly loose when I went to take her out again. The fabric was also just not as soft as others. Also the “extend” feature seems impossible to use as there is no room to slide the foot extension out without leaning her back a ton and she’d be riding essentially lying down. This may be user error but it just didn’t seem functional. She also complained about the straps being uncomfortable which she never did before

Love this seat. We have bought 3 for our kids over the last 5 years. However, this model is a bit different than the one I bought years ago, and the button to loosen the straps is very hard to reach. It's especially hard when the seat is rear facing. I might try extending the foot rest a bit to see if that improves it, but it's definitely a different than the older model.

Fantastic! Great quality and our baby isn't screaming whenever we put him in the car now! Plenty of room, and cushions for long rides. He's comfy and riding in style. For our car, it currently isn't too tall as it's at one of the lowest settings, but it doesn't appear it will really fit in our car as he gets taller. But for now, it's a great car seat. Just what we wanted and needed!

I did a lot of shopping prior to picking this seat out and wish I would have purchased a different one. I despise this seat and do not understand how it has such great reviews. It is absolutely impossible to tighten enough when installing. Every time I need to move this seat I get more irritated. I love our other seat with the snug lock technology and wish I would have returned this one.

Terrible! This car seat is impossible to tighten without climbing inside of it and pulling the seatbelt through the cup holder. The tray for babies feet only works if you have car seats deep enough to fit it. My full sized sedan and my parent’s SUV only allow the tray to pull out two inches before the carseat slides off the back of the seat. This thing is so overrated! Super disappointed.

Please don't do it!! I was so excited to get this seat because it's so cute. The anchors are so easy to click into the little bars and not like the old style where you'd rip your fingernails off. But the good ends there. My baby girl has been able to get her arms out since she was like 6m old. It's a huge safety hazard. I'm constantly pulling over to strap her back in just to look back at the next light and see her out again. The straps go through slits in the back that run up and down the length of the back instead of the standard ladder style of card slots. I think this is the reason why she's able to get out of it. I have contacted graco and they've responded with everything but actual help or a refund.

Don't buy this seat unless you are sure your child will never be carsick or have potty training accidents. The process of cleaning the seat cover is painfully challenging, with lots of tiny clips and a very tight space to feed the straps back through.

Was hoping I would love this seat my best friend suggested Graco because she likes hers but I got extend2fit and not the slimfit. Boy was I wrong. No matter what car, forward or rear facing we’re currently still refacing this seat is near impossible to tighten correctly while on child. My chicco seats have never given me an issue, this one is impossible. If I have to actually put muscle into tightening a car seat it’s not right! We tried to change the belt path because there is one belt that kind of ran over the strap in the middle underneath but this was how it came out of the box but it didn’t change it. We even brought had our local cspt and pd look at it and both was stumped. This seat is just a no go and will be donated and I’ll probably be going back to chicco seats permanently.

My kid needed to upgrade from the baby seat that no longer fit as she is close to the 2 year old mark. This seat is very comfortable, and my kid had the biggest smile when she first sat in the seat because she had so much leg room. Were so impressed with the seat right away that I ordered a 2nd one for the other car a few days after we got the 1st one.
