Q: Does anyone with an SUV with fixed headrests know if this car seat works? We have a Durango where we cannot remove the headrests in our middle row and our current car seat does not work for a bigger toddler. Thanks in advance!

We have the same issue in our Sienna and there is a tiny keyhole slot on the side of the base (the base where the pins slide in). If you stick something in there they come out completely. I used a kabob skewer but a small flathead screwdriver might work.

Q: Would I need to purchase 2 of these? We use two different cars. My car and boyfriends truck. So we would need to move the car seat back and forth to whatever vehicle we are using that day. Or is the car seat easy to transfer?

My daughter is getting older, but I still want her and I high back booster just until she reaches the right weight to be out of a booster, so this was a perfect option for her. She is eight years old And weighs around 60 pounds. Love that this converts with the child as they grow. Straps are adjustable and the cushioning is nice and soft. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this car seat! It is much slimmer than a normal car seat and a cupholders have a mechanism that you can move them in or out. The headrest is very easy to adjust, and the incline is easy to move from rear facing, forward facing, or to a booster seat. It’s very easy to install with the quick connect to the seat anchors, or easy to add in a seatbelt to install with. I love this car seat because it can grow with my son as he grows, and it is truly much slimmer than most other car seats, which makes it easy to fit more car seats in a row. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car seat checks all the boxes- plush padding for comfort for your kid, easy to tighten/loosen seatbelt straps, and room to grow. But more importantly, this car seat has smaller features that other brands can’t compete with. I have yet to see any cupholder be able to hold a Simple Modern Stanley Cup- this one can! The release button is under the seat fabric so crumbs cannot get in and loosen the belt path- a much more expensive competitor just had a recall for this! My son is very large for a four year old and fits very comfortably in this slim fit convertible car seat. I am pregnant with my third child and we eventually intend to use this in our smaller vehicle to fit 3 car seats across one row, but we also love it in our larger three row SUV. The base is slimmer than our other car seats and the cup holder rotates in to make more room too. It’s a great design because these features help for the slimmer profile, but my son is just as comfortable and doesn’t notice a difference. The Jarret black and grey color scheme looks great and hides inevitable stains. I also like that we can use it as a booster as my kids get bigger. Highly recommend! I placed the cat seat near the door but this would fit nicely in the middle too if necessary. The 5 point harness is great for safety. The cup holds can open or close which is nice for different size cups as well. My daughter loved the idea of sitting forward and being able to see out the window. There is lots of cushion for her head comfort as well. She hasn’t slept in it yet , not sure about head support when sleeping. I received an incentive to write this review.

Great to have a slimmer option to be able to fit three seats side-by-side (in a bench row of a large SUV). I'm glad it is made to be adjustable so you use it for several years. The cup holders swivel in or out to get more room. Side by side with two of these they can't both be out at the same time. This is the best theme/pattern out of the two I've had. Pics show it set up for a 5yo so I've taken out the extra padding. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge fan of the graco car seats! We had the snugride snug fit for the infant phase and just moved on to the slimfit! So far we really like it! My son is usually fussy when we first get into the car but adjusts quickly once the car is moving. I love that the cup holders can rotate in and out to save space. I also love how easy the buckles are to use to get baby into and out of the seat. We chose this seat because we have a smaller car- a suburu crosstrek- and wanted a seat that would be comfy and not take up too much space. We think this is a great fit for our family! The indicators for incline positions are clearly marked and I could easily see if the seat was positioned correctly. The Cco version to a booster is a plus as they grow and the darker color hides stains. A drawback was that rear-facing is only to 40 lbs. and with a third grandchild on the way, 3 seats of this width would likely not fit across my rear bench seat. I would like to see rear-facing go beyond 40 lbs because my grandchild is shorter for his age and will need to remain rear-facing longer. I received an incentive to write this review.

This is the first time we went with the slim fit 3-1 and I’m very impressed. You can see compared to my 4ever car seat how slim it is. It even sits a little lower which will make buckling that much easier when it’s in booster mode. The install was a breeze and got it to stay nice and snug with little to no wiggle room easily. The cushion is very comfortable, especially the infant insert. I received an incentive to write this review.

My 20 month old cannot fit rear facing as our state law mandates. His feet/legs are jammed against thr back of the seat. An extension is needed. Don’t be fooled like I was that this is rear facing. Very disappointed in a product that markets it as a 3in1. It is not.

I dont like that it’s called “slim fit” it’s super deceiving. I was under the impression this would fit the 3 across but, it’s not. Apparently, slim fit is not as slim-fit as the slimfit3.
