The seats are really comfortable and there's a ribber insert too if the baby is litte. Super convenient in my opinion. It's very easy to clean, except the belt Part whoch I haven't been to clean or take out and it's unhygienic due to that I love how versatile this is depending on your use. My baby loves this but has figured out to remove the top part of the tray which is very irritating cuz she keeps on throwing it. Get this only if you'll use it well in all forms otherwise it's too expensive.

Do not buy this high chair. I've had it for 6 + years and three kids and I'm just not wanting to spend money on another. But I absolutely loathe this high chair. It has the most amount of crevices, you have to constantly take it apart to clean it after every meal. The legs stick out very far so careful not to trip over it. The seat on a table chair without the tray is too low for the child to actually sit at the table and eat off of it so you must keep the tray. You can't wash the tray in the sink because it collects water inside of it which will inevitably spill everywhere when you pick it up to put it back. I assume the inside of the tray which doesn't come apart is full of mold since apparently water is able to get inside of it. The tray is honestly way larger than is really necessary. Save yourself the hassle and don't buy it.

The support bar that goes in between my baby boys legs sits way to close to the body and it presses too tightly against him. He is already not a fan of being strapped into things (hates his car seat also), but this makes this high chair unusable for him and I will be giving this to a friend. The tray is not very adjustable and seems flimsy when locked into the outter most position -like any weight and it would fall down and break off the locking clips. The tray is also super-sized which can make placing this high chair by a kitchen table difficult. Lastly, the wheels don't lock, yet it is marketed as a "foldable" high chair. When you want to place it away in a closet or against a wall the whole things comes crashing down. I will be purchasing a different chair for my 6 month baby boy.

We initially avoided brands like Graco favoring items with more aesthetic appeal to match our existing possessions, but almost 6 months in to parenting (and a much lighter wallet) we’ve stopped caring. Thankfully the colors are neutral and it’s blending in well, but more importantly this is a massively practical product, and exceptional value at the sale price of $130, especially when you consider the alternatives. We were considering the Stokke Tripp Trapp and the Ingenuity. The Stokke with all the required accessories would run close to $400, and while I’m sure it will last longer, at this stage the Graco has more convenient features. I was more or less able to build it out the box with one hand while holding my baby, and being completely sleep stricken. Everything is super intuitive and clearly thought out for practical every day use. Love how the tray table clips to the back, love how easy it is to clip off the chair and use it as a travel booster, love how easy it is to wheel around. But mainly love how our 5 month old has taken to it, she’s sitting in it with little to no fuss. If there’s one critique it’s that it could be maybe an inch or two higher for our bar height table. That said when she gets a bit older she’d likely be the appropriate height. We’re very happy with this product!

Easy to assemble, easy to store -- easy to fold and, while large, does not take up a ton of storage space --, tray below compartmented tray is huge, cushioning for baby is well done and well thought out for growth, easy to adjust seat and tray height as baby grows. Absolutely excellent product.

Safety concern: chair falls over when collapsed

2 out of 5 stars
Pittsburgh mom - 3 months ago
originally posted on gracobaby.com
I received this chair as a Christmas gift for my 12 month old. We were looking for something space saving that would grow with her. Positives: cushioning is soft, the 5-part harness is secure, the removable tray insert is handy for cleaning up. Negatives: The chair is VERY unstable when placed in its collapsed position. The wheels do not have a lock function and the design of the legs (the non wheeled legs are shorter than the wheeled legs when collapsed) makes it so the chair cannot support itself when folded up. And when you lean the chair against a wall, it still falls over easily due to the leg length difference/wheels. I’ve found that you are almost required to hook the tray to the back to provide enough counterweight to keep it from falling over, and even then it is not 100% stable and is easily tipped. While it hasn’t fallen over on my child yet, there have been a few close calls that frightened me. I hope Graco considers recalling this model before someone’s child gets hurt, and redesigning to include a wheel lock/stability improvements/a safety mechanism for preventing tipovers.

Horrible Tray Table Design

2 out of 5 stars
EmJo - 5 months ago
originally posted on gracobaby.com
Overall the highchair is good and works well. There are, however, a few major design flaws. Theo locking mechanism for the table does not always fully lock in. The design of the table in general is very poor and makes it unhygienic. There is a small gap between the top and bottom portions that collects food and cannot be cleaned unless you take it apart. There are also a lot of small crevices along the bottom that is within hand reach that also gather a lot of food. There are small buttons that are on each corner, not sure what they are there for, and they ALSO collect food. Non of these areas can be cleaned well unless the table is taken apart, which means taking out 16 screws. This is not only unhygienic but also not parent friendly, it takes way too long to be able to take it apart, clean it, and put it back together.

Bulky and heavy

I purchased this exact high chair from Rebelstork, and quickly realized it wasn’t going to work for our little one. When I tried to return it, they said they had a no returns policy, so sadly I was stuck with it. We used it from 6mos to 11mos, and finally at 12mos decided to buy a different brand and style of high chair to suit our little one’s needs, which we absolutely love! This high chair is large, bulky, and heavy. It does not fold up easily with the tray on. You have to remove the eating tray to be able to fold and store it, which isn’t the most convenient as you have to set the tray on the floor once the chair is folded. The ease of cleaning wasn’t my favorite. There’s lots of nocks and crannies on the sides for food to get stuck it. The nylon straps stain very easily. The fabric wasn’t terrible to wipe down, but we wanted a seat that was made of nontoxic foam/plant based plastic instead of fabric, as our little one is sitting up much better than when we purchased this. The legs stick out rather far in the back, although it looks like it’s sleek and space conscious. The new high chair we have is much better size wise for our space and needs. This high chair may be idle for some parents, but I feel there’s much better options out there.

Tons of tiny places for food to hide

awebs611 - 7 months ago
We’ve used this high chair continuously with both our children spanning almost 5 years. While it’s still standing, functional, and has kept our children perfectly safe, I do NOT recommend it. For those who still purchase this high chair, here’s a few pro tips: Step 1. Remove and throw away the padded seat protector. It only serves as a napkin and petri dish to grow immeasurable amounts of bacterial colonies. It’s only useful if you plan to remove it and place it in the laundry after every meal. If you eat 3 times per day, that’s 3 loads of laundry. Step 2. Hire a pest control company. The food that gets packed into the infinite number of tiny crevices that are impossible to access and therefore clean will be drawing every ant, bug and spider in a mile radius. Step 3. Make sure you’re paid up on your insurance premiums because it’s highly possible you’re going to break a toe when you smash your foot into the legs due to it’s wide stance.

Unsafe and uncomfortable

Three issues with this high chair: 1) the table does not extend out far enough and the support post crushes my baby’s crotch, to the point he screams at me when I put the table on (for reference, he is 6 mos, 17 lbs); 2) the table is not secure even when attached correctly. I can only assume the “locking” mechanism is not designed properly, as I feel like any moderate pressure will break the mechanism and the whole tray will come tumbling down at any moment; 3) the wheels do not lock and it is very easy to move, which has me concerned for when my baby turns into a rocking toddler. Normally, Graco gear is good quality but this high chair should be reviewed by the CPSC for recall.

Great Product with few areas for improvement

I've been using this high chair for a few weeks, my 5-month-old son loves it. Overall, it's a great product with a few areas for improvement. The design is sturdy, and the materials used feel high-quality, making it a reliable choice for daily use. My baby seems comfortable in it, and I appreciate the adjustable features that grow with your child. However, there are a couple of downsides. First, the chair is quite large and heavy. A slimmer, more compact version would be fantastic, especially for smaller spaces or for those who need to move it around frequently. The second and most significant issue is the wheels. They don't lock, which is a bit of a safety concern. When stored against a wall, the chair isn't stable and has the risk of tipping over. Adding a locking mechanism to the wheels would greatly improve the safety and usability of this otherwise excellent high chair. Overall, it’s a solid product with some room for improvement.

My baby is 20lbs and hasn’t fit in this chair for weeks—the tray is way too close to his crotch and it crushes him when I try to put it on. He screams whenever I put him in it now because it hurts him, and I fear he is developing an unhealthy association with feeding time because of it. As expensive as it is, I have to assume I’m doing something wrong.
